I don't seem to see anyone talking about this helm anymore. Back in 1.09, when I played more, it seemed this helm was fashionable. Is it still a viable end game helm? If not, why?

The mods are still great, and it still is a viable end game helm, but for more specific builds, there are better options.

Better all around except for the +skills, and you can socket it with anything you want, including -% level requirement jewels or 40/15's.

Griffons works for lite zons too, with low reqs.

It's also ugly. Not as ugly as Andy's, a Gaze or a Tal's mask, but pretty bad. Rare zon circ FTW, fashion and function.:grin:

I'm using Valkyrie Wing on my ama, and it's going fine. I havent died where i'm supposed to be ;P (i'm lvl 58 only died on hell chaos)

There are no such thing as -% level requirements. -% requirements only lowers the strength and dexterity requirements, not the level req.

I'm not sure how it would cripple it? Stick a couple of enhanced dmg/IAS jewels in the puppy and rock and roll, or a enhanced dmg/IAS and an Um rune. So you get ED, more IAS and +15 all resists. Nothing shabby with that ontop of 2 skills and FRW.

Sorry, I was just considering that some builds, unless they nerf themselves w/ ias armor, need 3os in the helm to achieve the next bp.

Fair enough but for some builds the +2 ama may be more useful than an extra socket.

For Faith GmB 45ias helm is needed for last Multishot/Guided Arrow breakpoint(unless you are using a Treachery armor or 160/40), then a 3sox/30frw would be the best choice(sox with 3x 40/15), but a Very Expensive choice.

If you are using a Faith Matriarchal Bow, you need lesser IAS. A 2/30/2 helm would be perfect. Sox with 2x 40/15 + 20IAS gloves and you are good to go.
