Upgrading Silks of Victor??

Was wondering if it is worth it to upgrade SoV?
What kind of Def boost will I get??

I think the final defense will range from 834-990. But the Str requirement will be 170 and the lvl requirement will be 55.

Also, there was a website (german I think) that gave full stats for Ethereal and Upped versions of unique items. If it's still around, could someone point me to it? And if a direct link is not allowed, maybe hint me a keyword I can punch into google?

The Silks of the Victor, Ornate Plate will have a level req of 33 (+5 from 28, 28 being the level req of the normal Silks, which is higher than the level req of the Ornate Plate).

Aah whoops. I thought I read someehere that it was supposed to be something like Rlvl+5 or the Rlvl of the Ornate Unique, whichever is higher. Guess not heh.

Yea, it is that way. Upgrading from normal to exceptional adds +5 to the highest required level. In this case, the Silks of the Victor have a required level of 28, while the Ornate Plate has a required level of 25, so the Silks is higher. As a result, we add +5 to 28 to find the new level req.

Yes, you can, but like you said, it's can only be done on ladder.

Nope. If there was, then it'd sort of defeat the purpose of ever resetting the ladder seasons and forcing people to start from scratch :smiley:

upgrade it. Got almost 1000 defense. Forgot about the increased str requirement though so I had to switch over to IK Belt from my string of ears belt. Its all good though.

to be warned, there was a bug in beginning ladder that allowed for items to be transferred back and forth!

the current ladder I am talking about. so if you see 40/15 jewels, they are not legit and will poof if not used right away.

same thing with runes but now they are duped anyways

I've seen a .08 Valk Wing on this ladder. After I stopped drooling, I was all like, "wtf"?

(Oh, yeah, and it was eth and zod'd :evil: )

Well, couldn't they have been transferred off ladder at the end of a previous ladder season?

No, they meant that the .08 Valks are on this current Ladder season, not transferred from Ladder to NL. Besides, those Valks came from version 1.08, before the Ladder even existed.
