Unable to Connect to Battle.net?

:drunk: I always get disconnected and it says Unable to connect. and I can't reconnect to my server, US East, but I can connect to west... This often happens when I'm switching characters fast to check games... is there like some limit? This also happens randomly sometimes... anyone know the problem? I always have to wait like 5-10 minutes to connect to East again RARR :cry:
 
Yeah you aren't allowed to switch between characters very fast.
Or create games very fast.
Or create a bunch of games within an alotted time.

These measures were taken to prevent botting, when B.net detects any fishy activity from you they will lock you out temorarily.

Thats why there are way more Tenp Bans, Realm Downs, and Disconnect nowadays. Only advice for help I can give you is relax and take the gaming a little slower and easier. Can't do repeated Meph runs anymore, otherwise you get a Temp Ban, so yeah.... Just take it easy, switch out your characters slowly. Don't, Exit, Exit, Choose Character, Come Back within 5 seconds. Take some time, Exit game, wait a couple seconds, leave bnet, wait a couple seconds, double click character, enter game. The game will stay up for an additional minute if you've been in it for more than 5.
 
Afaik, you got a 10-minute tempban if you left the game more than 3 times per minute. 2 games per minute is okay with that tempban, it doesnt trigger it. (think Pindle/Nihlathak) I've learned a very painful lesson losing a 45 resist all superior elite palashield (perfect base for spirit) to that. And I really do think that Blizzard has to warn of such things. Although if you create many games in a larger timespan (like 30 games/half an hour but I have no clue on the real values) you get a Realm Down which lasts alot longer - an hour or two.

Also, if you spend 5 minutes in a game, it is permed for 5 minutes more. It is a nice tactic to perm a game, run someone (like Meph), join the game to mule, wait 30 seconds, run someone etc. Games that you left before they've lasted for 1 minute are permed for 1 minute. It is nice to mule low cost items, although the risks are increased.
 
in nonladder i was banned for switching chars few minutes, but i started ladder and was banned 12 hours 2 times!! in ladder is different? im from europe and i play inb usa east and prolly i have some lag... Now is ok cuz i take care and i think after few weeks in a server the player is ok cuz the server recognize his chars faster

There's no set amount of time you'll be banned. Sometimes it's only a few minutes, and sometimes it's endless hours.
