Krischan on what /p you run Pindle normally? Is there any reason to go higher than 1.

I've read about runefinding and know about LK /p settings but what about those places? It seems, that after raising /p settings for certain places I've seen more items and runes. Is this true also for those places or is it not worth it for sake of speed/safety?

Edit- I can't break away from my nice maps for 7/8 tele to Meph and 1 tele to ancient tunnels (also ok'ish Pit map). So I decided to run a new sorc to Hell for LK and perhaps something else if map allows it. For Meph and AT I don't really need 105FCR since things are going ok for most part. For LK I want more and a good map to bother with some serious running. No more tens or max hundreds of runs. I want to start some 5K or similar goal for runes =)

Pindle drops two items and four potions regardless of players, but his minions will drop more items with higher settings. Also, for a character in its 70's, 80's and early 90's, pindle is good exp, which is why you'd run on higher settings for the most part.

Council members are another story, they don't always drop 3 items each at players1. Much better chance of that happening on players3, but still no guarantee.
 
Usually the rule of thumb is that you want to increase player setting if looking for runes (and / or xp), keep it at p1 if looking for S/U. For Pindle, you want to keep it at p1, as he isn't a good target for runes. Exception being if you also look for some easy xp, as he is actually a tremendous target for that. So in that case you want p8 if you can handle it.

If looking for runes, getting the player setting as high as possible, isn't always the best option though, as it will probably slow you down. So there you usually want the highest player setting where you can still kill reasonably fast. For Travincal, after a lot of testing, it has turned out that /p3 is probably the best setting, as beyond that it gets much harder while chances for good runes only get marginally better.
 
Been doing some LK runs for Runes and charms. Found all these within about 5 minutes of each other. That MF roll tho!!

+5 LS, finally! +2 shadow warrior is rather useful as well. It even has a bit IAS, although I would have preferred a quicker claw instead. I guess I'm going to start a trapsin - I should have another +4 LS claw somewhere....
 
So yeah kinda leveled my 1.00 necro to level 61... Testing the capebilities of 211 mf ingame. Farmed this in 90 min (could even have a bigger haul if I wasn't expirimenting). Yap all hell rares, ilvl 65+, resulting in my second episode of: Am I lucky? Yeah this was really fun to do and it is exactly the gameplay I personally like. Minor spoiler: its really worth watching.

381 again? I'll take it, thank you very much! So, 40/381 and 39/381, pretty good. Still left me with 2 Ohms to boot. So now my GF Barb has new toys, and it only cost me 6xGul, 6xMal, 4xLo and 4xOhm and few hours of racking. Worth it, says I. Still room for improvement though, I just have to find more 1.07 BA's.

Now, off to respec my WWer and try these out against the Council!

No shame, I don't even own Kingslayer. And now I kinda want to make one, but I'm running low on runes :(... But seriously, I've found out that more you use runes, more you find them. Whatever makes you want to play more, the more you'll be rewarded. Unless you make Winds and Venoms for some reason.
