TPPK fixed in 1.13?! Is it safe to return?!

Hey guys,

Has TPPK been fixed in 1.13? Is it safe to bring my HC char out and not get killed by a missle attack?

Are there any one hit kill glitches in NM (ancients?) or w/e?

Re: TPPK fixed in 1.13?! Is it safe to return?!

I think as far as I can tell the glitch has been fixed totally, however the tppk is odd it seems like there is a delay timer on it but I think there is still a way around it or so i have heard I have not really looked into it yet :?
I would like to be lieve they have fixed it but I don't really think they have :/
Meh time to play with banana channel some more lol

there is no hostile delay timer
the only timer that was installed was the one if u hostile the unhostile and attempt to rehostile
this was added in a couple patches ago because people would spam the hostile button as an annoyance to other players

appart from that tppk still works the same as ever

It's so unfortunate the Blizzard just decided against fixing TPPK...I still won't be able to play public games online.

Re: TPPK fixed in 1.13?! Is it safe to return?!

so they decided flat out against fixing it huh? that sucks. Bashiok posted that they acknowledge the problem of TPPK and are essentially powerless or uninterested in fixing it.

Re: TPPK fixed in 1.13?! Is it safe to return?!

The current 1.13 beta does not include a TPPK fix. That initial effort generated so much community outrage that the legacy team is soliciting more feedback to ignore. Assuming that they actually acknowledge the overwhelming desire to rectify TPPK and don't half-solve the problem like before there may be some hope...of dying to drop barbs instead. And that won't be until April 2010 at the earliest.

It's impossible to figure out the patch intentions/reactions/action plans due to a complete lack of useful feedback since 12/17/2009. I'm sure someone will relay developments to the HC forum.

The legacy team met late last week to decide how to proceed on the 1.13 patch and the decision was made to go back into development to incorporate a few additional changes. While this patch has already seen its fair share of delays we still want to ensure we’re releasing a patch that hits some key community issues. I do want to stress though that while we did look at feedback and responses we’re obviously not going to be able to include everything requested. Our hope is to hit at least a decent portion of what we saw people discussing and correct some of the more severe issues while keeping additional development time as brief as possible.

We don’t have a current estimate for release, and because work is only just beginning on these new changes we won’t be announcing their details. We’ll be keeping everyone updated as to the progress of the patch though, and we hope to see this update on the PTR as soon as possible and then off quickly to a release and ladder reset.
Hopefully issues that completely destroy the chances of public HC games count as "more severe" issues, but given our population (due largely to the existence of said issues) who knows.
