Thoughts on changes thus far in Test Realm?

First, for those that have not yet seen a current change list, or even knew the PTR is up:

I gotta say, I am not all that impressed. How many months of waiting for such minor changes?

Only one thing impresses me. You can now bring your barbs to CS safely. :yes: This is quite appealing to me, since my favorite character is a MF/GF barb.

There are a lot of things left unfixed, I personally was hoping for fixes to TPPK, and the D/A/E bug w/Fend. I don't know if they still intend to fix them, or if they chose to instead do:

- Updated two Act 5 mercenary names to Klar and Tryneus.

Hammerdins will still rule CS, the minor changes to the Sorc and Zon, seem just that, minor. They reduced the effectiveness of Sorc lightning skills....why? It's not the skills that hurt the Zon, it's the mana usage is it not?

*shrug* maybe I have too high standards for a 10 year old game. I'll be back playing of course, wouldn't miss a new ladder :)

I think the lightning sorc change is mostly for Expansion based builds, you could get lightning up to 51k damage.

So, why nerf Lightning Skills when that was never the problem, the problem is the 'Infinity' runeword.


I like that the window no longer minimizes when not active.

I actually liked it when it minimized, cause if I am not in the game, well, then I don't need it open.:crazyeyes:
