I'm really :duh: for investing in MiniDiscs a couple of years ago. Back then it was either MP3 or MD and I chose wrong. My stereo has that MD device instead of a tapedeck. At least it looks flashy.

Ha ha.

Well, at least it wasn't laserdiscs.

Friend of mine has one. I was quite impressed, but I thought most things were gimmicks anyway. Nothing beats my 1 year + Samsung E870.

My thoughts are technology is waaaaaaaayyyy ahead of Blu-Ray already but it's just milking out the current format of multimedia. Just think of it: CD's are discs read by lasers, DVD's had bigger capacity for some reason (don't know the details) and then some 'brilliant' techguy comes with the impossible thought blue light is smaller and therefore the disc can carry even more data.

I applaud for the guys filling their pockets with this great finding.
