Yes.
They give you an elevated effect in game and you see odd shaped things.

Actually, you can "smack" anyone with anything - just don't use the sharp/pointy end of it. :laugh:
I read the patch notes this morning and found out that I don't have to wait until level 35 and Uldaman to be able to train as an Expert Enchanter! I was able to do it in Stormwind at the Journeyman trainer in the Mage Quarter. :grin:
I will have to wait until level 35 to train as an Artisan though. What's the fastest way to get from level 20 to level 35?

I kill everything I see and do as many quests as I can. There has to be something else I can do. How are those people that get to 60+ in a couple of weeks doing it? There has to be something I'm missing.

how do you get rested anyways?
Basically, go into town and watch for the zzzzzz under your character in the top right of the screen. That means you are resting. Then logoff and dont play that char for awhile. It may be a good idea to work on three chars at once and rotate the days you play. I leveled from 43 to 45 in 2 ZF runs this way.
