On another note, I just finished watching the tenth episode of Stargate SG-1. I bought the first four seasons this weekend, and have been watching it from the beginning since yesterday afternoon. Out of those ten episodes there were only two I haven't seen so far, and I completely forgot that Jack O'Neill was from Chicago. :laughing:

Sounds...interesting, I suppose. I haven't played in a couple of weeks.
Out of a party of five, three of us got carried away emoting and goofing off that ... we wiped three times.
We were in the Sethekk Halls Instance, in the room right before Talon King Ikiss, problem there is that there is about 5 mobs plus a boss in that room, and if you do a pull wrong you get mobbed. I was the last one left and took two down with me.

It's all part of party co-op play.
Remember when I had my Rogue playing with you and I was turning invisible and Sapping (stunning) things?
The Rogue sap skill is part of the crowd control tactics used in group play. Problem is, our Rogue missed his sap, and for some reason the whole mob (6 monsters, one who summons more, and another who mind controls) aggroed onto us. Well I got mind controlled and attacked our priest, and more mobs got summoned in. We all died except the hunter who can play dead.

I know what you meant as far as playing (instance/raid), I was talking about not knowing the area you were in.
I recall seeing your rogue stun some of the Defias (sp?) when we were by the mines (or was it the Quarry?). I don't think I've come across a monster that summons or uses mind control yet.

We were in one of the expansion areas, called Terokkar (SP?) Forest mid 60's plus levelwise.
Certain caster types can summon minions or other mosters, and some mind control. You won't start seeing this for a bit though.
Other things that happen as you go through the game:
Being feared- You run away from the fight and randomly change direction until it dispells.
Put to sleep.
Sheeped/Turned into a Pig or frog or something
Shrunk down to littleness
Charmed- you attack your allies, and the monsters are your friends
Mind controlled - Same as charmed but you randomly use any attack skill you have.
Teleported - Some monsters can randomly teleport a target into another room. This is usuall bosses in instances. Not a common thing.
Various curses and poisons.
Mushroomed! Dammit!
"The Bomb" ... You go "Boom" and explode, you do mass fire damage to all around you and also get shot up into the air like a rocket, and take fall damage when you land.
Plenty more.

You will be able to trick or treat the Innkeepers.
Might I suggest you create an alt - Warrior/Hunter/Druid/Rogue and get Gathering Professions on him. You can make some money with these. Do Herbalism/Skinning or Mining/Skinning. You can do Mining/Herbalism but you can't track both node types at the same time.
Money earned from these can be used to fund your mage.
Kiba, Play wolf. Play Llane.
