These Stickies are Made for Reading Thread - Summer 2007 i

I didn't play for long yesterday, but got to within five bars of leveling to 47. I just haven't been feeling up to playing much, ended up watching more of season three of SG-1. All I can say is LoL! @ Urgo. He reminds me of someone I once knew.

Does anyone happen to know the actors name, or if he played in any other films? The voice seems familiar.

Actor's Name: Dom DeLuise Character: Urgo/Togar
Original Air Date:28 January 2000 (Season 3, Episode 16)

Urgo went down as one of the worst episodes there was.

As far as the bad guys go, just wait till you get to past Apophis and Anubis. You have yet to meet Sokar and Baal. Or Fifth. Or Replicator Carter.

I am near the end of season three, I've seen Sokar a couple of times and Apophis has died at least twice already. Once when his ships were blown up and once from old age. His body was sent to Sokar, where he was revived and sent to live in "Hell." He killed Binar in that episode, and tried to kill Sokar, but I don't remember now if he succeeded. I just know he escaped when the moon and Sokar's ship were destroyed.

Season 3 has a few good episodes still, one of them hints at Daniel starting down the road to ascending, another has to do with the crystal skull, which sets up episodes in later seasons. Then there's the finale with the Asgard and the Replicators.

Season 4 picks up where season 3 left off, and has several good episodes including "2010".

I had seen all but two episodes of season one, and had seen most of season two, with having seen only three episodes of season three previously so far. I think there are three or four episodes left of season three before I start on season four. Once season four is done, I'll have to go out and buy some more - I have only the first four seasons right now. I will have probably seen very few of the episodes after season three - I was in boot camp and other various training courses for many months after that. There wasn't much time for television, so I just stopped watching it. I hardly turn the television on now, nearly eight years later.

I got mine from Wal-Mart, only the first four seasons were available at the time. Then I saw all ten seasons at Best Buy for more than what I paid at Wal-Mart. To get all ten seasons together was somewhere close to $290.00.

I find that $290 for 10 seasons is rather cheap, it is still a fairly large chunk of money but I still find it cheap.

 maybe I should get myself a TV series to watch....

That's not cheap compared to the $19.98 I spent on each of the first four seasons - nearly a hundred dollars more than if I bought them seperately.
So Aperlov hangs here, no wonder I've been missing his posts!
He doesn't "hang" as often as you think. Check out his location and you'll see where he's usually at. :hide:

I seem to recall 7 seasons of Star Trek:Voyager going for something ridiculous like $600. $290 for 10 seasons of a series seems like a steal in comparison.

I'm nearly done with season three, only three episodes left. Don't know when I'll be going into town again, so I might finish season four before I have any of the others.

Finally hit level 47 with my hunter last night, too.

I've not been doing much with my hunter, I sort of feel like I'm stuck with her. I can do most quests on my own, but some of them are against things three and four levels higher. That itself isn't really a problem, it just takes a little longer to kill them. I have only a couple quests left in Tenaris, but not sure where I should go from there. Maybe I'll just do some random ones in Stormwind and Ironforge for a while.
