It’s all relative 
zticazzy made it through the last level in a little more than three weeks . . . I’m hoping for 6 weeks, which would be fastest for me by far (2.5 months for Pestilence) but also very fast XP with Death and no traveling due to ... events.

I’m hoping for 6 weeks, which would be fastest for me by far (2.5 months for Pestilence) but also very fast XP with Death and no traveling due to ... events.@Luhkoh : I did some P1/P7 runs while farming tokens and the xp gain/per hour was not so encouraging in my opinion, nor were these runs very enjoyable. Chasing Lord de Seis with my mercenary in a possibly crammed area is not my idea of fun either, even if it is P1 . Essentially it took approximately 1,5-2 minutes to complete the Chaos Sanctuary run and you gain like 65-85 k (what was the experience gain per Diablo (P7) again?) without Experience Shrine? I did not measure the exp gain per se, but it could not have been much better than doing Nihlathak runs (P8) I reckon.
I actually do enjoy these Nihlathak runs right now and I´ll continue with pure Meteor sorceress at least until 3,32 mark. Nuking Nihlathak with Meteor is quite fun to be honest. I have also rolled myself a map with 3 Shrines (there are loads of Gem Shrines in addition to Experience Shrines) and I started to roll Nihlathak grand charms to possibly get some high-end skillers as well.
In overall, I am rather indecisive about the future right now. If these Meteor runs get monotonous, then I´ll respec either into Lightning or Blizzard. I guess that I let the game drops decide, which skill tree to follow. Currently, I own one cold and one lightning skiller, but my 20% FCR amulet has only 2 to cold skills.
Nevertheless, I´d like to test out Nihlathak runs with Phoenix runeword build before any respecialization, because I just need one Vex rune and Skin of the Vipermagi for it. Obviously finding Vex is still a long shot, but I still have 100 + hours to go. I need to find Viper in order to maintain my FCR 105% breakpoint in this case. And indeed, with Vipermagi I could test out the Crescent Moon build as well, but I do not want to respec into lightning too recklessly. Anyways, let´s see what happens.

@Kinkara great progress, and getting so close! Only about 10-11 hours to go, good luck on the homestretch! Speaking of progress:
As expected, we made solid progress over the long holiday weekend after my last update, and the last ~16M this week. Drops did not pick up much. He netted an AR GC with FHR that swapped out for two low-resist SCs with FHR to improve AR, and this decent GC upgrade that replaced another AR GC:
He also got a Fine SC near the end that swapped out for a resist/MF SC. And he finally picked up HRs, with a Mal dropping, followed by . . . another Mal from a random monster the merc killed :\ And another Pul, so only 5 Pul+ (3 Puls and 2 Mals) for the half-level, which seems cruel. The only other drop of note was finally getting a 4os +3 skill elite Aamzon bow, a Mat bow, so an Ice upgrade for the Zon will finally be incoming
After the 98.4 mark, I realized that the map was likely slowing down progress a bit, due to frequent (>75% of the time) spawns on all four sides of the platform, and my general cautious approach with Vipers. So at 98.45, I rolled a new map, and the first one has two shrines and rarely spawns on the far three sides of the platform! It's the NW arm, so it took a while to get new teleport path down, but he's consistently over 3M/hr now.
The shrines help more than I thought, as cursed Nihl often doesn't cast amp. It's due to being in hit recovery, I think, as I noticed he teleported less frequently once I equipped the GC noted above. So I assume the same applies for his Arctic Blast, and more generally an interesting consideration for Barb Nihl running, as the amount of team hopscotch reduced noticeably when damage increased. Our forum members who theorycraft better than I may have more to offer, but experientially it was a material difference in play experience for me.
He had two close calls (which I define as <800 HP left), one when I missed the Might aura initially and the other as I was getting used to the new map and amp/Viper issue as I was tracking down Nihl after missing the landing spot. But otherwise, even with just over 4000 HP, he's been quite safe so far. The life leech makes a difference for sure, and I am not unhappy with going the damage route instead of iPDR reduction at expense of slightly more cautious approach to S&E, at least so far.
I'm still hoping to hit 99 with him by New Year's, but not sure if that will happen given work leading up to the holidays. Good luck to all the runners still progressing, especially @Kinkara on the home stretch!

The life leech makes a difference for sure, and I am not unhappy with going the damage route instead of iPDR reduction at expense of slightly more cautious approach to S&E, at least so far.
I'm still hoping to hit 99 with him by New Year's, but not sure if that will happen given work leading up to the holidays. Good luck to all the runners still progressing, especially @Kinkara on the home stretch!

Y'all continue to inspire me. I've been toying with the idea of this project for a long time now, but keep getting distracted by PoE, or Grim Dawn...
I think I may start this soon. I've been playing a number of twinkled versions of the classes I may choose, and I think Meteorb into Phoenix Fire sorc is my preferred way to go. I've got my character created, but I'll wait to update the table till at least 85 or so. I play through quests pretty slowly, so that may be a while.

First off, congrats to the massive progress as of late, you guys are awesome!
Believe it or not, Stevesy is still in fact plugging along on his eventual route to 99. Had to take a bit of a break from him (which turned into a very large break) as endless Lister runs (and slow ones at that) are not exactly exciting. Either way, he is still alive, has made progress, and has an update!

The slog continues. Lister runs are not thrilling to begin with, and with 6.3+k life it's not exactly dangerous either. Nothing much happening with drops either but a Carrion Wind and Nos' Coil kept things interesting enough until
This was one of my final potential gear upgrades, so that's at least a *little* bit exciting, right? Now to determine if it's actually better than his upped SoE that he's using. The vitality is obviously not necessary for Stevesy and that would be the main benefit of switching. The FHR would be nice, but honestly it's not really a factor for a character with such enormous life. Honestly, I'd rather keep the increased DR% and MDR from SoE, so that's that.
A bit of a dry patch before a (sort of) notable rune showed up:
Yawn. Smooth, boring sailing until the end and he sits at 97.
Time for a bit of testing to see if his path forward will change at all (and to see if Bersek is an option, following an interesting theory that @ffs put forth, but I suspect Lister/Baaling will still be the way to go for the next level as well.

And it happened! I have to say it was a pleasant last bit of the level. Also here are the last ok drops from this year long grind. I'll try to make a thread soon, but I think it'll take some time. I'm really tired of running Nihlathak, but I guess that comes as no surprise to anyone haha During this last stretch I was toying with the idea of starting a Necromancer in this challenge, but I'm now giving it a second thought as I don't feel with the impetuous energy that drove me to make Bobo in the first place... I'll see how I feel about it in the future. Anyways:
