The Title Grail
After thinking about it for a bit, here is yet another (ridiculous) grail objective: the Title Grail.
The object is to get an untwinked character of every possible title, from Guardian (LoD HC) down to Sir (Classic SC male.)
For the lower titles (completing just NM or normal) it is desirable to use an underpowered build or some interesting restrictions for style points.
What counts as completing a title:
a) You must have a living, active, untwinked, equipped, character of that title to complete it.
For HC, thus the character must remain alive. That is, if you have a HC character who earns Champion by completing NM and then ends up getting killed in Hell, that doesn't count as completing Champion.
b) You must write a thread for the SPF about the character.
c) GoMule/ATMA can be used if desired but no items can be muled onto the character which come from another character (that is, all characters should be untwinked and their equipment kept all separate)
d) A character can (obviously) only have one title. If your Slayer goes on to beat NM and become a Champion that may complete "Champion" but now leave Slayer incomplete.
There are 19 total possible titles. The list is weighted toward Classic titles (12) since there are more gender-specific titles (King, Queen, etc.) in Classic. I like Classic so that isn't a problem for me. But for people who want to restrict to LoD titles, there are still 7 of those to complete.
Here is a blank table:
19 Titles
Possibly interesting subprojects: there are two obvious subprojects:
1) Only do the LoD titles giving seven: Slayer, Champion, Patriarch, Matriarch, Destroyer, Conquerer, Guardian
2) Only do the Hell-beating titles, giving seven: Baron, Baroness, King, Queen, Pat, Mat, Guardian.
Since there are seven classes, naturally one would prefer to complete each of these with one character of each class!
Suggestions about rule changes/clarifications, comments, and so on, appreciated!
