Lol, this is SO good that forced me to get back to the forums for a bit.

I shall post my points too:
1) There's no legit way to get torch in SP. Simple, this is a legit community, although, yeah, what you do in your PC is up to you, but don't expect us to recognize you the achievement.
2) Wearing a shield is a must for someone attempting clvl 99. Why? Even with minions, the lightning from Gloams pierce through them, so minions are worthless as shields against those attacks, and believe me, sometimes the screen can be filled with lightning attacks and without good resists you will die.......... very often.
3) You're wearing lots of melee equipment for a caster. In order to do a good damage and have a good baal runner, you need as most damage as you can do, why? Because the ammounts of run you must do to get clvl 99 is INSANE. Leveling up from clvl 98 to clvl 99 is just insane and without good damage you're going to be there years.
4) Enigma is pretty hard to get in SP. Runes do not drop often in SP, and you don't have the duped runes from b.net...... unless you cheat and create them. You have to do tons of hellforge rushes, LK runs, countess runes or be incredibly lucky (which doesn't happen for the most of us).
5) Skillers are a must for good damage for casters, I already explained why excellent damage is needed for baal runs. So your empty inventory is another proof of your cheatness.
6) You say amplify damage makes your 1.1k bone spear do 2.2k damage!? LOL! That's the dumbest thing ever to be posted, seriously, this should be marked and stickied with a legend "never fall this low". This is why is the dumbest thing ever: Bone spear does magic type damage and amplify damage curse increases (well, rahter makes the physical resistance of enemies to drop) the damage from physical type damage. So amplify damage does nothing for bone spear, there.
7) With that low life, you're going to die often in the WSK, and with the ammount of runs needed to level just from clvl 98 to clvl 99, you're not going anywhere and you'll never see your exp bar going up, yes, even with minions, lightning attacks from gloams pierce through them, remember?.
8) You Zodded and ethereal Shako? Do you even know what it takes to find a Zod? In the history of the forums, very few Zod's have been found and believe me, if you would know what it takes to find a legit Zod surely you will use it for something else, so do not even try to posting something this ridicously.
9) Teleporthing away from gloams? With that low FCR? You will teleport so slow that lightning or almost any attack would kill you before you even had a chance to click the right button.
You know, the list of what is wrong with your posts and pics is so long I would waste my fingers in order to post it.
Just admited everything is lie, ask for appologies and re-start clean. Or yeah, keep your trolling, but do not expect anyone to believe you.

1. Ive gotta agree with Serdash. By coming into his stomping grounds and claiming to do what he did you kinda insulted him, and the rest of this legit community.
2. Get anywhere other than the spot your at....a guy trying to get credit for doing something he didnt do and POing a bunch of people that get along fairly well together. Your the new comer, the one trying to get somewhere, otherwise you wouldnt be posting here.
3. There is something to apologize for. If I came into your house and took a crap on the living room floor do you think I should say sorry? Thats kind of what you did...in a digital way of course.

1. ninja, we all had a laugh, I'm sure you're right in your own world. Let us live in denial and we'll let you live too.
2. I follow this thread from time to time and am interested to see the table get back up, so that's exactly what I'll do. I'll edit out ninja though. IMO taking away the ''glory'' by hacking up your char, trying to get a bigger pee pee on the internet really takes away the aura from the people who did get it right.

Hey this is prob a dumb question but I didn't read the entire thread. Are all these lvl 99 SC or did any of yall do it HC style? That would be soo cool! Way to go guys on all the progress.

Keep in mind that a SC death at level 98 is absolutely crippling in terms of how much time it takes to make up the lost exp. Don't die after 96 or so.

97 0.415 74 Sorceress Elentari FrostBurnWow, I finally made it, I lvled up by the exp from Baal, like I wanted too. This was a veru hard quest which seemed endless, but there it is, finally 98. I think I died about 8 times from 97-98 :undecided:. Dieing at this rate makes it allmost impossible to go for 99, which seems allmost impossible to me anyway. It took me 6 months to go to 98.
As I see 10 out of 13 characters which made it to 98 also made it to 99, so the statistics are with me. And I'm sure Grogs and DC will come back and lvl up there chars.
But for now I will swap some more MF gear on and do some p1 AT runs. Let's see how many runs it takes for my merc to reach his final level.

Sorry for asking, but I haven't seen what build you're running with. Perhaps you're dying a lot because of low health? Poor crowd control? And unfortunately I doubt grogs or myself will ever get another 99. Even if I wanted to still play d2, I wouldn't do another pally to 99, so I'll just remove him from the table as he'll be permanently parked at 98 anyways. You've still got Marvel and his über-necro as competition though, so it's not as lonely as you make it out to be. :wink3:

Belt: healing, mana, antidote, rejuv.
My choices for belt and shield are a bit strange and needed a lot of shimmering charms. But I liked the 25%pdr i had from belt/shako.
The reason why I die is because I'm just not very carefull, I think she had about 13xx life. She died once because of extra fast might frenzytaurs, while I was also cursed and conviction aura'd. That was a cruel one. She died once because of dolls, that was my just uncarefull. Once because of resurrected gloams while using bonehew, also uncarefull. The rest of the times because of gloams while under lower resist or conviction (e.g. while parking CI conviction Lister). I should die less in future runs, because I start to learn more and more what risky situations are.
For example when Lister has conviction aura and cold enchanted, now I first check if there are gloams at the entrance of the room before I lure him to there.
For now, I ill take a break before going on and try to complete my grail some further.
I didn't know Marvel was still there for this quest, nice I'm not the only one to do about 25 Baal runs for one pixel exp. I also hope to reach 99 some day.:thumbsup:

I'm sure things are going to slow down a lot from here on out, especially once I get to level 92. I hear a lot about it really starting to get tough around level 92 to get more experience.
I'm pretty excited because this is my first Hardcore character to get over level 90! Hopefully I'll get her all the way to 99 one day. Need to get better gear before I can do Baal runs efficiently though, so it may be a while and a few characters of MFing before I feel I'm ready.
Also, JJscud, what strategy did you use for getting your Zon to 99. Did you just get a nice map and run down to Baal's throne room or did you use something like Enigma to teleport there? Thanks!
