Well, I added myself to the table, way way down at the bottom. I don't want to do it myself, but am wondering if NinjaSoD should be removed from "9.5" place? Sorry if this causes controversy and I don't know what I'm talking about, but it seems like you came out of no where. I'd hate to have someone belittle the accomplishments of those who have reached 99 and played many hours to do it, but someone that hasn't worked for it.

Anyways, I'm going for it! :thumbsup:

Pics don't mean much unless you gain the respect of the people here first. Sorry for causing this controversy, but am I the only skeptical one that is bothered slightly by this?

And a necromancer none the less? They seem like they'd be tough to be an extremely efficient Baal runner.

edit: Also your lack of patience to change the rest of the numbers and instead adding yourself in as 9.5 makes me think you may lack the patience it would take to get to 99.

I changed Nikola to level 99. Darkchaos completed him it's high time the table recognized that. :wink2:

Sorry mods for the spam, but I have to reply when someones talking to me o_O

Why should I change all of the numbers when I can just add myself in without doing any work? And my short attention span doesn't mean I can't get to level 99, because doing it is actually fun, and a bone/summoner necromancer with level 10 amplify damage and decent minions works well with chaos and Baal runs for me, and you can level pretty fast with the /players commands using the saved maps on single player, you always know which way to go so you can get to Baal faster, making each run faster and still get a good amount of experience.

Cool, how many runs did it take to get to 99. Did you do everything at p8? Also how long did each run take?

If I can find (stumble across) a specific HR I may try to make a baal running necro too. How well did the bone/summoner hybrid work, I was thinking of a pure summoner?

A couple of weeks or did it take longer? How many hours do you think you spent ingame? I was thinking of trying a Baal running necro myself and could use some advice. How was your bone damage and what was your gear, and skill setup?

Another thing, did you find yourself doing mostly Baal runs or was it an even split between Baal and Chaos Sanctuary? Also, did you do full clears of the WSK or just go straight to Baal? How much MF did you have, and did you find anything good along the way?

What a joke... If you wanted to be one of the "cool kids" then there would have been far better ways to go about it.

SP is based on trust and respect, you sir have none of either and this is a prime example of why I rarely visit these pages anymore.



 
Ok,
1) jjscud, it took me 1-2 weeks, and I wasn't counting how many runs it took. I did it almost all p6, because it goes relatively fast and still gives a good amount of exp. Pure summoner can be good, but you have to think about those desperate times when your minions just can't do all the work, for instance an immune to physical would take forever for your mages to kill, especially if theres more than one, so you could whip out bone spear or whatever skill you want to go with, and blast them.

2)DarkChaos, I'm not sure exactly how long it took me, but it took around 2 weeks splitting 10 hours a day between single player and multiplayer (yeah, I'm a computer freak. o_O)
And for my gear, I really just used items that gave alot to skills, enigma, maras, 2 sojs, and etc..
My skill setup was kind of like this, but maybe not on spot.
-15 raise skeleton
-20 skeleton mastery
-1 clay golem
-15 raise skeleton maji
-1 golem mastery
-1 blood golem
-1 iron golem
-1 summon resist
-1 fire golem

-10 amplify damage

-20 teeth (just for the extra damage to bone spear, and okay for mobs of weaker minions)
-1 corpse explosion
-20 bone spear
Then with the 3 skill points left over from doing skill quests, I put those into bone armor just in case something got close it would absorb it a little bit.

3)grogs, you don't know if people trust or respect me, and you're most likely the prime example why you rarely visit these pages anymore. Read over your post - it's pretty much all just a big flame post. And something else to add - who said I wanted to be one of those "cool kids?" I was just explaining how I got to level 99.

So as not to be a troll: pretty sure no one who has posted here so far believes you, especially after your most recent post. I know I don't. I'll think up a nicer way to say what grogs said about fitting in and get back to you.
 
Okay, I think I've stopped laughing enough now to slip into mod mode. :rolleyes:

@NinjaSoD: I'm going to be perfectly frank here: We don't believe you, as the math simply doesn't add up. I would strongly recommend that you come clean at this point. Something like this can be hard to come back from, but the sooner you are honest the better the chances are that you will someday have a chance to earn back some of the trust you've lost at this point.

@All: I understand the urge to comment on the subject, but I really don't want things to get out of hand to a point where a lock (or temp bans) are needed. The next person to do an update can remove NinjaSoD from the table.
 
Thanks for the tips, NinjaSoD! Man, you must be a far better player than I. You see, I've taken 3 characters to 99, and funnily enough it took me not 1-2 weeks but rather a few months each time! And that was with over 10 hours of playing time each day!

I don't know how you did it man... I thought I had some of the best Baal runners possible, able to clear p8 Baal in 3 minutes and all... I bow down to you.

You were able to cram 500 hours of gametime into the time frame of 2 weeks. I salute you, sir. You have done what many of us would have thought impossible.

How did you manage to play 35 hours a day!? :dizzy:


By the way, you're right NinjaSoD. Good riddance on Grogs! What's that guy doing around here with nothing useful to add nowadays anyways?
