The point of my complaint..of Ladder Reset

The point of my complaint..of Ladder Reset

Bnet.. needs to do something about Hack Programs and Dupe Programs...it seems that they content with how D2 is now..and are focus solely on there monthly WWC revenue.. which I think is rediculous to pay a money fee to play a game.. no matter how little the price.

Nobody has 100s of HRs that are legit... cause nobody finds them that often.. I can say that I have found a grand total of 12 Legit HRs in the current Ladder.

People with super amounts of HRs.. most use some dupe program... which has degraded the game as a whole.

I have had several HRs Poof on me that I am sure the Items I traded for them have not Poofed.

For Example a PC skiller with 40+ life traded(if I am not mistaken) on last ladder for about 20+ Hrs.. while on this ladder one with 39 Life has bids approaching 100 HRs..

So my complaint is really not to the people with the dupe programs but to Bnet to do something about it. The game is not hosted on anyones home PC.. but at local places.. and being in the computer programing field..seems it would be all to easy to write or incorporate an algorithm that would eliminate the issue immediately when it occurs.

Thats about 11 more than most ppl find in a ladder season, I wouldn't be complaining if I had your luck.

That is 10 more than I've found... Besides, why should Blizzard do anything other than mass bannings? Because it makes the game difficult to play? Why should they care? They aren't seeing much money off of this game anymore... I hope they do relese a new patch, and reset the ladder... But, I wouldn't hold my breath... Ya might turn blue...

It's 12 more than I've found...

Forget about the ladder reset, it's probably not coming.

It is quite funny since a lot of the rich people have had mules full of griefs (grieves? ^^) and perf spirits and what not since spring. I for one do not care about the reset so much, I try to mind my business and enjoy some of the ladder benefits while they last. Sad thing is the lag which makes it impossible to play quite often.

Well, take out your wallet and calendar then, because such an action will mean Blizz's resources (time and money) will go into something that isn't making much money anymore. Meaning new releases will take longer/cost more.
Personally, I love D2. It's my favorite game ever. I've played it for years, probably more than 100 times longer than any other game. But I've done everything, and I'd rather D3 gets here a bit sooner than D2 gets all of its problems fixed.

You should post your complaint thread over on Blizzard's forums, you get nowhere with them on this forum.

Good luck getting Blizzard to do anything.

Take some business course and you'll figure out why they don't really concentrate on D2 and more on WoW. They don't do anything to Starcraft, and already starting to not care much for Warcraft3.

I'm actually surprised they haven't pulled the plug on anything not WoW by now. What with seven million subscribers and all. Surely it's coming though. I can see the red message popping up in one of my Pit runs now. "Due to the millions of subscribers for WoW, we have decided to kick your freeloading rear end the hell off of our servers to make more room. Have a nice day."

I'm going to get nightmares tonight. :nervous:

I'm probably dumb but i dont see any problem at all.

Even if 3/4 of these duped runes poof before you can use them, you would still be richer today than in thoses days you talk about. It's overall easier to get access to good gear and/or make good whealth out of mfing. I can see how offers are becoming sick but nobody's forced to accept it. Economy is what you make of it imo.

As soon as you know what you're dealing with... it's all good. Trade wisely, avoid obvious scams, make your own security and all should be fine.

If Bliz doesn't give me the chance to download my chars to my local drive when they finally do the big shutdown I'll cry.

if they cut diablo 2 down they better take some other game with it!!! (grabs starcraft by the tail)

Indeed, Blizzard won't do that.

But if they would and didn't give us another way of playing D2 online massively, you can have my word I'll never buy anything from them again.

You probably haven't paid Blizzard anything for bnet for years now while they took efforts to make several updates (not just bugfixes) for free and if they will shut it down (which will probably save them a lot of money), you won't pay them either. That means no matter what they do, you won't give them money. I mean no offense, but I guess Blizzard won't mourn the loss of a customer like you. :azn:

On the other hand, threats like yours are still keeping them from closing bnet, as you could seriously consider buying games from the competition while they have you in a "neutral position" as long as you play on bnet.
