The Noodle Compound V. 2.0

Re: The Noodle Compound

Hmmm... That's not good. Not sure exactly how they are supposed to work, but I'm pretty sure that's not it.

Disabling regular pop-ups, over or under window one does not stop it. It's very annoying. Disabling java altogether or running the noscript addon was the only thing that would stop it.

Hi, my name's kestegs, and my wife beats me.

Yea, that ad was a pain, they did finally fix it at least though.

Re: The Noodle Compound

Hah! That could happen, but pretty unlikely.

My wife uses one as she has to take a shipload of medications. at 3 different times during the day. So I can relate as she often asks me if she took her medication.

Re: The Noodle Compound

Have you guys ever woken up, made a coffee, and can't remember if you took your medication or not?

I hate that, now I have to decide whether or not to take another.

i would leave a note on my mirror, like a little post it, to remind me. Or set an alarm to take a pill. I would suggest counting your meds to see if everything adds up, but you probably have been taking them for a while so it might not help. >.>

okay, when i was 14 or 15, I was dancing around the house, goofing off. A really good song had come on the radio so I was bouncing all over. Well, the couch we had at the time had a wooden part sticking out of the back of it, where your back goes on the couch. Well, I did a high kick at full speed and my left foot hit the wooden part and Leo went down like a battleship. It hurt so bad and I couldn't walk or put pressure on it. So, I called my step-father, freaking out. Luckily, my mom came home early so we went to the emergency room. I had to wait maybe 20 minutes from when I hit my foot to when she got home (maybe longer, I can't remember exactly) but by time she had come home, the far left side of my foot was bruised dark blue.

Six hours later (about eleven PM was when I was seen) it turns out I had broken my baby toe cleanly and had a hairline fracture on the bone that joins the pinky toe. I had a foot cast, had to wear it for two weeks, was out of dance for about two or three weeks. It only hurt the day I broke my foot. Not afterwards, lol! so yeah... gotta watch it when I dance around the house. >.>

Re: The Noodle Compound

Dancing is the cause of 73% of pinky toe accidents in the US, just ask Noodle.

Sounds painful though, and maybe a bit embarrassing.

Re: The Noodle Compound

@ kestegs Re: medications - why not just require the butler or another of the household staff to remind your wife? That's what I do.

Re: The Noodle Compound

What was the song?

I WANT to say it was Jimmy Eat World's "Sweetness", but I'm not sure if it was or not. There was another time when I did dance to that one in the house, but I sustained no injuries. :D

It was a little embarrassing when people asked what happened. But I never lied when I simply replied, "Kicked a couch." :dopey:

edit: that's it! I'm having coke. Just blew my top at a debt collector. HE WAS BEING TOO PUSHY!! I couldn't take it anymore! So I told him word for word and at the top of my lungs, "I can't do this right now. YOU WILL GET YOUR GODDAMN MONEY WHEN I ****ING GIVE IT TO YOU!"

Re: The Noodle Compound

There are a ton of good butlers on the market now, eager to get hired and start butling away. Now, when it comes to scullery maids, that's a different story. What I wouldn't do to find a halfway decent scullery maid!
