Well, I've been to work.
The snow is quite severe by Southern English standards, car occasionally wanted to pick it's own route, etc., two hours to do a 30 minute journey, that kind of thing.
I'm at work for half an hour, Boss decides it's best I go home. Managed to wiggle the car out of the snow drift in which it mysteriously found itself, with a bit of effort and lateral thinking. On the roads, conditions are worsening by the minute, a car cut in front of me on the motorway, no indicators, just a close-your-eyes-and-cross-your-fingers job, so I head for the deep snow on the verge, find my way out of it again (WTF?), and finally I am back home, with a cup of tea.
I figure I will do something really dangerous now and play my Certain Death Amazon. Woohoo for snow!
