The New Item Find Thread - 01/12/2005

Lol everyone is going to think I'm cheating and I wouldn't blame them. The only mods I am using are the Red Rune Mod and the Runeword mod.

Yesterday I found a Tal Armor (the first I have ever found on single player) in the Ancient Tunnels with my horker barb.

Then I started leveling up my blizard-firewall sorc wearing her now complete Tal set. She was in Hell Act1 doing countess and mauseleum runs. I just took her to Act5 and was doing the Anya quest. Guess what one of those champion abominable snowmen type creatures guarding the frozen river entrance droped? Another Tal armor! Woot! I couldn't believe it!

Don't ever give up hope of finding things!

It is official I am now a mutant. Please point me to to Professor Xavier so I can learn to control my mutant powers of luck.

My Tal sorc leveling up in Ancient Tunnels (only MF is on Tal set with PTopazed helm/armor) found an IK armor! Lol! That's 3 of the most difficult to find set pieces in 2 days! :lol: :lol: :lol:

I don't think it matters, but I gambled half that money on \p1, and the other half at \p8. It is such a small sampling to see if there is a difference, but like I said, I don't think it makes a difference. I gambled circlets and coronets too. My sorc is lvl 92, but I didn't find one diadem or tiara with plus skills on it. Is this normal?

I think next I'll try my luck at crafting and see what I can come up with.
