good guess...it was actually 3d glasses...i think the best prize i ever got out of a box of cereal was from a count chocula from back in the 70's...it came in my specially marked box...a record called "count chocula goes to hollywood"...what's up with these cheap bastards at general mills now...the idiot who decided that they wouldn't put prizes in their boxes anymore should be blindfolded and stood against a wall....and another thing...why can't i find a box of fruit brutes or fruity yummy mummy anymore?

I thought the Cap'n Crunch PC game from a few years ago was a pretty decent prize - even though the game was worse than E.T. and Custer's Revenge combined and buggier than Black & White.

Best cereals ever = Nerds and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, although Cap'n Crunch and Crunchberries rank up there. The Surgeon General + my colon and teeth probably disagree. :badteeth:
 
i think the captain crunch balloon launcher is still a hard prize to top....i never ate nerds before...what do they taste like?:rolleyes:

The most revolting cereal to ever hit the shelves - the dye alone would probably expose you to 16 flavors of cancer. Of course, if you're a kid that translates to: Greatest Food Ever.

Like the candy, there were different flavors, two per box (seperated). Grape, cherry, orange - there might have been others. I was about 12-13 the last time I ate them so I don't quite remember the taste. Comparable to Fruity Pebbles I think, but a bit sweeter.

EDIT: Best part was you could eat a handful of these and go stick out your soon-to-be purple tongue and gross out the girls. They deserved it too for torturing us with those godawful (stinky) Strawberry Shortcake dolls.
 
The coolest prize ever was the submarine that used baking soda. Hours of bath time fun! What're these other crappy cereals you're talking about? The greatest cereal of all time was Smurf Berries Cereal. Basically a box full of crunch berries in the shape of a smurf berry.
 
I liked it back when Shreddies had mascots. It made the taste somewhat bearable, if you got to look at cartoon characters while ya choked it down.
And actual toys, as compared to $0.50 off coupons and a reverse side in french.

The rubberband launchers were cool - it was like a piece of plastic, loop a band around the bottom, and stick on collectible plastic vehicles to the top n whip em at stuff. There was a speedboat, airplane, and car i think. Car one sucked, cos the only place to catch it was underneath the front bit, and it never let go like it was sposed to.

the last time i drank beer and poinged boobies, i got kicked in the nards and spent the night in the drunk tank....a hangover and sore nuts is not the best way to start a day.
