The one I remember best is Beaky Becky. There was a Rebecca in my class who loved Cabbage Patch Kids and playing house - I used to torture her with that card. It was payback for all the times I had to play the dad and feed/burp/change diapers on those horrible dolls.

I still talk to her ... and I still call her 'Beaky'. :laugh:

It was a puppy, and he was shaking it do death to show his affection for how cute it was.

I had to suffer through Care Bears, Strawberry Shortcake and Cabbage Patch Kids. Two younger sisters and a cousin. I had a large family and we all lived in the same house until I was into my teens. Their girly things were mixed in with my G.I. Joe's and Transformers! Oh the horror! They got into my Garbage Pail Kids cards once, I came home to find them stickied all over the back door.

My wrath was swift and they still talk about it to this day. Their fond memories of Cabbage Patch Kids and Barbie dolls were never the same again. I kind of miss having younger siblings to torture. :evil:
 
Hmmmm..... I think I was just into Marvel as a kid. Marvel, and Mangas.
Pokemon came later, but that phased passed me faster than any other kid.

Well... I used to collect troll dolls.
Then again, I think everyone had those things.

According to my mom, when I was little, she and my auntie always TRIED to get me to play with girly stuff every now and then. But aparently I was really stubborn, and all I was interested in were my manga and comics(cartoons), collecting trolls, and as far as dolls went, I'd look for the "oddest" looking plushies.:smiley: :nerd:
 
When I was 11 or 12 (in 1979), I collected rubber smurfs. Not because they were so cute. We played football with them. They were placed on a 2x1m field, with goals, tribunes etc. made of Lego, using a marble as a ball. The smurf who was closest to the ball shot it.

I still have all of them.

And believe me it took every fibre of my being to get that will power to say no.

I just don't want to be sucked in, knowing my luck, i'll buy a game card, and end up being busy or some crap for a month or more, then all that money'd go to waste. It sounds like fun though, maybe during one of my breaks, if those keys are still valid later on, anyway...
