If it's more than $100, I'll gladly sell both of mine. I have the PSX version, so I have no use for the carts anymore. Batteries are probably dead in at least one of them.
Batteries go dead?
er.. as stupid as that looks when I read it, if batteries die, they can't save games anymore?

all my snes rpgs still have working save files, but some of my nes ones dont work.

Besides, the psx one has those dbz stylin animated cutscenes and the crappy load time at the beginning of battles. Snes is flawless, seamless

Yeah, they do expire. You can still create new save files but when you turn off the system, it goes poof. AFAIK, it hasn't happened to any of my SNES carts - I wonder about CT though, I've played the crap out that game. The other one I wonder about is FFII; that was the first SNES game I ever purchased. I must have played through it a million times before I got sick of it.

I've had lots of batteries go dead in my 8-bit NES games, but I'm able to change those. I've not tried it with SNES/N64 or Sega games.

Hmmm, now that you mention it, yeah, I forgot about that. Maybe I should keep those carts after all.

I was just musing; I have no idea. On a sidenote, I have zillions of collector's cards from back in the early 90s when publishers would pack them with comic books to bribe rubes like me because - OH TEHY BE WORTH $$$$$$ SOMDAY! As far as I know, none of 'em are worth more than a nickel.

 $600?! For the love of ... great game but give me a break.
I'm not surprised. There are people who pay $/€1,000,000 or more for a used stamp.

Xenon you are a real anime fetish... Before it is primula, now it is Suzumiya

Take into calculation that the stamps worth a lot aren't even properly made... Wrong color, wrong print, can not even use it in emergency. :undecided:

Old Skool Marvel collector cards ftw!
I've got MY binder full of em, do YOU??

Two complete series actually and yes, in binders.

My favorites though are the three sets of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cards I have. Two of them were from the original cartoon series, the other from the first movie. They're worth less than the cardboard they're printed on and yet ... they're priceless.

Dirge of Cerebus has gotten pretty bad reviews.

 Never heard of it. What am I googling for, game? Movie? Other?

Garbage Pail Kids FTW! Other than that, all that remain of my childhood are some old comic books and my Optimus Prime Transformer.

Well... Summer is rapidly approaching its end. The kids are going back to school starting next week. Almost time to close this one up and start the new OT thread Gorns. And I will be going on vacation but when I get back I should be on WoW some days. Hope to see ya there and we can go Dino Hunting.

Yarr++
