I mean they are lagging **** up.. every single game bots from 3dsvs you name it eery damn item shop joins and spams all day long..

I just wish blizzard could do something against this.

I think the rest of us are talking about spam bots, not baal bots. Or were you just joking? That's not funnny!

Spam bots are alot rarer in Nightmare and hell difficulty stick to your high lvl characters.

Few methods to get rid of bots:

- Put level restrictions in your game

- Press N once they enter

- Squelch them

Can't think of anything else.

Bots wouldn't be there if nobody purchased d2 items with real money.

Just do what Bloz recommend or play in private games.

If I in town, I attempt to start up the trade window with them. For some reason, that usually shuts them up, and then they drop out of the game soon after that.

What would you do about the 2x stereo bot spam? Even pressing N madly will still leave messages on the screen.

They should make the lvl requirement something that is absolute, and not relative to your lvl. That would make it so much easier to stop spam bots.

They are probably not programmed to handle that posibility.
Hopefully you crash the comp they are running on.

Not much point in squelching them, all you can do is clear the screen and wait for them to leave, usually takes half a second.

I wish Blizzard would(could?) give some sort of warning to the sites that these bots spam telling them to stop using them. Something like that.
