Serial Experiments Lain, is far more -ownz- from what I've seen of gits so far (on 2nd tv ep), in so many different ways. Have you seen it yet? I think i sent you the torrent for a dual-audio ogm encode.
Macross > ghost in the shell, hands down. Storyline, graphics, cg, music, Mecha!
My friend's teacher worked on reboot, among other shows. He said they always inserted subtle (and some not-so) references to reboot + beastwars into their stuff, to watch him twitch as he remembered
I watched it a bit when I was like.. 10 or so, it was pretty cool for the time. Didn't like the next version where endo grew up and became all fake-badassy neT pirate.
I still get tingly when I see the purple game blocks descend from the sky :laugh:
it was for the sake of evolution and exploration...she moved past the need for a body...etc...
i agree though i need to add Lain to my netflix!
no macross...seriously?...i mean it was great when i was in elementary school....but now....the voice acting is a bit....weakish.....

I always listen to it in japanese. The voice actors just seem to put more effort into it =/garion said:

macross: yah, i guess as a kid it was all in english..and pretty awful (well now that i bought of all of the gen 1 robotech episodes...aka macross)
ive also caught the two movies after the series...macross plus and the one with the two test planes ( i forget the name)
you actually picked up on japanese via the anime?....no dice for me...

Dunno.. I think it'd depend on who's making the milkshakes. Those mcDonald's milkshakes used to be pretty good - but now it tastes Like they don't clean out the filters - and just let it get cross contaminated with whatever the hell they want.
