The 1pt smiter guide to Uber Tristram v 1.0.

Smite is used on the bosses... Maxing it is a waste if you aren't going to be using this character for PvP, in which case you should just make a full on smiter... Zeal is used on everything that isn't a boss monster... (again, with the reading... -_-)

You should have done it the other way around.. Sac should have been maxed, then extra points should be put into Defiance, but it shouldn't hurt your build... You'll be a better tank, but you won't have quite the damage output of a full on zealot...

Sorry if this has already been answered, I was reading a few pages back and someone said that if I use a Grief PB, I dont need +%IAS in my gear, because Grief already gives me MAX IAS.

My guillaume is socketed with a +15 IAS Jewel.. should I unsocket it? I will use a Grief PB.

um... depends really... i figure it would be too much effort to unsocket it and resocket it :P but what can i say... im lazy...

as for Sorc :P sorry bout the dummy part dood... i was frustrated over some stuff that day...

also i guess my fortitude is fluke :P but it hasnt failed me yet :D lets hope it stays that way

It can be unsocketed with a cube formula... but i will only do it if its not worth to have a IAS helmet when you dont need more IAS.


 
Any ias roll grief pb hits the fastest smite breakpoint if your fanaticism is higher than level 2.

Yes, the 15 ias jewel in your helm is useless.
 
That helm is quite common, so if you wanted to, you could trade it for one that was unsocketed already... Then you could use something like an Um rune in it... Or, just use the cube formula... Cubing it might be easier though...

Sorry for the totally off topic post, but there's a cube formula for unsocketing stuff?? This 1.11 stuff has me feeling like a total noob again. What is this magic cuberific formula?

Yes you can remove the items that you added in the sockets (runes, gems, etc) but you cant remove the sockets from the items.

1 Hel Rune + Scroll of Town Portal + Any Socketed Item = Remove items from sockets
Warning: This will destroy any gems, runes, or jewels you have socketed. This is useful if you are not happy with the gems you have socketed and you want to socket the item in another way.

Yah hypper im still of the opinion that its a waste of a hel rune to unsocket it... just sit tight with what you have... if u find one mf'ing just larzuk it and there u go... the difference it will make is insignificant IMO

I found another one yesterday.. I wont unsocket this anymore, it may be of good use in the future


 
So I just finished my build, except for the amulet, I still need a maras.
I have a question. I have 2 grand charms, 2 large and 2 small charms that give me 50% Faster Hit Recovery (12, 12, 8, 8, 5, 5) = 50
Sanctuary gives me +20% = 70%
Guillaumes + 30% = 100%

So I have 100% FHR but those charms take a lot of space in my inventory. Should I keep them or 100% is too much?

Why are you so concerned with hit recovery? I'd be more worried about resists... You have a Sanctuary, which will give you a good boost to that, but most people add resist charms, and life charms to their characters rather than FHR charms... You should have enough hit recovery from the equipment alone...

Also, you don't "need" a Mara's... Just get a blue ammy with like 20% resist all on it, and your set... You could also look for a rare pally ammy with resists and skills on it... That's what one of my pallys uses...
