How would you rate this setup?

pretty standard i guess, but as far as belt i have a rare 24fhr/13str/18life/10pr would that work? or credendum for res or 15% string or nos/goldwrap for IAS or idk where my main holes lay

armor: treachery? i could afford a duress if you really think i need that instead; gangel?

ammy: ill prob just find a rare to help with my weakest area, but im not sure what that is :/
 
As far as the belt goes, I've heard that tal's is handy for the damage to mana. This way baal's manaburn breath will be much less annoying.
 
Looked over the basic guide and trying my first 1 point smiter. Some questions about the weapon choice for the "average" player on ladder (no high runes, etc.)

My gear:
helm - guill face
armor - durress
ammy - highlords
boots - gores
rings - raven+dwarf
gloves - dracs
shield - hoz or gris ?
weapon - ??

With this set up should I go with gris or HOZ? Also what type of non- high rune word weapon is best. I was thinking of going with a Eth Oath for pvm zealing, but what about against ubers? Lightsabre, stormlash, heavens, etc. ??
 
Ok here is my setup, think I'm ready? need an all res jewel for the helm, an ammy and some res charms still. see any holes? not enough cb?

Update. So my smiter is now level 80. I've never tried ubers yet, but I do have some of the organs besides Diablo Horn.

My setup is like this with no gear.
Strength: 65
Dex: 125
Vit: Everything else..I can't remember the number.
Life: 1300+ with no BO. With BO 2000+

Helm: Gulls
Weapon: Grief/CTA on switch
Armor: Fortitude
Shield: HOZ
Rings: BK, Raven
Ammy: Highlords
Belt: Tgods
Boots: Gore

Don't have any charms yet (besides Anni/Torch). My res in Hell aren't maxed yet. They are in the 30's besides poison. Am I supposed to have my full inventory with resist charms? And someone told me I should be wearing COH instead of Fortitude for Ubers?
 
Hopefully you have Dracs for the ctc tap, Coh will give you a major boost to your res where fort doesn't add that much dmg. Prebuff fade or stack your inventory with res charms, your choice.
 
Equip Trech and stand in the fire in act 5 till you proc fade on yourself. Take the armor off and put on your regular armor, the fade will last around 4 mins, which should give you enough time to clear trist.
 
Perfect diamond is good as any other. If you were to plop an Um, you're a blatant showoff and extravagant, as Um is useful as part of a smiter weapon runeword.

If you have enough resistance to tank, a good alternative is a jewel of fervor.
 
I can't exactly get a duress ATM, but what would you suggest socketing Griswold Armor with?

Also, what is your guys Base Str? I have 80 so far

base str is as low as you can make it and still wear your gear. res jewels are always good for gris armor, as are 15% ias depending if you need to hit another breakpoint.



 
My base str is 60. Without torch (since I use the smiter for ubers) I have barely enough str for my gear. Other gear gives a good amount of str.

As for resistance, I was afraid that I would die quickly because I don't have max resists in hell. I beat them fairly easily. As long as life tap kicks in, I never have to pot unless I run out of mana.

I can now afford some upgrade for my smither and i dont know what to get.
Current Stuff:
Gulli Umed
Sanctuary in ex pala shield (106 resist total)
Smoke in MP
Heavens Light (2 x Shael)
Highlord
Raven
Nosferatu
Draculs
Ring with some resist and ll
anni and res charms

I have some problems on Ubers (I keep dying sometimes) but I am always getting a torch.
Anyway, I dont know what should I get:
1. Exile (I can afford the runes and I have exp shield 40 all res as base)
2. CoH (I can afford the runes and I have AP 4 sox as a base)
3. Grief (I can afford the ruens and I have PB 5 sox as a base)

Also I am thinking about getting an Umed Zaka.
Any ideas? If you got other options, please post them :)

Consider this (from an earlier thread):
The 1-point smite/20 Holy shield combo is good with practically any build vs ubers if you think about it; all you really need is 0-1 point in Fanaticism. That's right, 0-1-point in Fanaticism. Put 20 to holy shield, a very fast weapon you keep in storage, and ta-da, faster than the Joker's pencil trick, you got an uber smiter. Then customize your Paladin as you wish: Hammerdin (use Concentration vs ubers), Tesladin, Cold Justice or FOH ers(use Salvation(!) vs ubers), Avengers (use Conviction vs ubers, especially Mephisto--your sorceress would regard you as a friend--but you would still have to kill Mephisto). Be sure to swap to Gores and Guillaume's Helm when battling ubers.
