Terrific Tuesdaily

Thought I'd start one of these as I made it to the front page of the SPF.

RL: Driving theory test, Christmas shopping, amazing day with the lady.

D2: Maybe some v1.09b NM Meph running for merc gear and stuff to sell.

OVG: For the pet project it'll be Half-Life, otherwise I'm stuck on this huge trapped room in Dragon Age: Origins.

RL: Hope to study some. Probably martial arts in the evening. I should also clean my room, but I'm feeling lazy about it atm.

D2: Necromancer or Javazon. Maybe some HC mp if the people are around.

OVG: Don't know.

RL: Meeting a friend, looking for Christmas presents together. Playing some MTG online.

D2: Probably not. Speed in NM with my obsession thrower barb is too terrifying (or rather the lack of it...)

RL: Classes in "review for the final" mode all week. Not much work for me to do other than be there and dance to the tune my classes set.

D2: Just finished NM with the last of the seven characters I'm playing. I'll be entering hell difficulty shortly. I'm not really sure the plan at this point, but it will be slow going.

RL: Finished day two at work. Between the co-worker's death, the impending schedule change, and the response to a department-wide email being robotic, generic, cold, uncaring, and completely full of lies and side-stepping, my overall mood is gloomy. At least I'm away from that place for a few hours.

Not much on the agenda. I should clean, and I could go make a couple payments, but I doubt I'll do anything productive today. Just about to heat up a frozen burrito or three (meh), turn on the telly, and see if I get a decent amount of sleep to make up for yesterday.

D2: ...Eh, nah. Not feeling it today.

OVG: Yesterday I ended up selecting Xenosaga, a turn-based RPG for the PS2. Played for 4+ hours... but because the game is 80% cinematics I've had a total of maybe three dozen battles in all that time. :crazyeyes:

RL: Staying with a friend for a week. I need to do the commentary for my run and submit it, but I can't for the life of me figure out the audio desync problem when I append the segments. Gah desync.

D2: Depending on what the friend is doing, I might do some work on my FB-only sin.

RL: woke up, made coffee, job hunt

Now: drinking coffee and feeling sorry for myself

Upcoming: more of the same, hopefully followed by some action(s) that will pull me out of this funk. :fingerscrossed: Also, some more writing and an attempt to contact my oldest and dearest friend, who I've only seen once since I moved back to TX.

RL: Woke up, ate some Cap'n Crunch (oh yeah), threw on some Dreamtheater, now I'm getting ready for the day (waking up at 11 really kinda sucks, no?)

D2: I started a Freezealot the other day and, while he's only at level 8, he's still pretty fun. So maybe I'll try to push him up to act 3 or something.

OVG: I really need to finish HL2 so I can start on episode 1 & 2!

RL: Need to go buy some more tea later, but otherwise a very quiet day full of finishing up lab reports and working on presentations. At least there are no exams this week, except a quiz or two which will require no studying. :p.

D2: The usual "handful" of LK runs, possibly some more /p8 Pits (or MP, if any) for leveling PvP'ers.

OVG: Mabinogi reworked things some time when I wasn't looking, so that'll inevitably steal me away from D2 when I get the time to install it. Might try one or two of softnyx's games again also, but those were [good, but for the most part] far too skill based for me. :D.

RL: Minus 1 essay, 1 essay left to go along with 27.8 hours of recordings to listen to. Damn my super awesome ability to close my eyes the second any one of my professors begin to talk.

D2: I took my Lycander Hybridzon to Ancients last night. All that's left is Baal. MA damage is very disappointing without Windforce.

OVG: Picked up La Pucelle (Ps2) from a friend this morning so I'll probably be rocking it Wednesday night.

@TRM: Hey, I used to start them all the time! Thanks for the wishes pal, I passed with 48/50!

The girlfriend had an IT exam today, which she was dreading, but passed. Christmas shopping in the rain was awesome, and I got a few DVDs for myself, mainly foreign cinema and budget horror. On the way home the radio DJ played five songs in a row by one of my favourite bands. Yay!

Best day ever!

RL: Collected my Gorilla suit for this charity event on friday, it looks slightly terrifying in all honesty, not sure how I'm going to get people to give money to a terrfying ape, but...

D2: Enjoying a first time in Hardcore and am rocking through act 2 with a would be fishymancer. I'm debating whether or not to make him some sort of poison/summon hybrid, but we'll see.

@Cheese: I recommend mages. I've got a mage-o-mancer, and he wipes the floor with p3 hell act1. Ofcourse, he has great equipment, but it's obvious that mages aren't useless.

@Pijus - I'm eager to try mages, as although they don't do all the damage in the world, it adds more diversity to the build, which is what I'm after. I'm tempted to max poison dagger and poison nova as well as the 3 standard fishy skills, although maybe just one and put maybe 10 points into CG and GM, for a decent tank.

RL: Also had my third driving lesson today and only stalled... 3 or 4 times, not too bad seeing as I'm scared to go above 25mph hehe.

RL: Another lame day with 12 hours at uni and instead of relaxing when you finally get home, you have to study even more. Knowing that I'm going to a party tomorrow is currently the only thing that is keeping me up.

Also, if I get tired of physics (very likely) I might watch an episode of Sons of Anarchy.

D2: Can't find any space in between for it.

Stalling isnt bad as long as you dont let it to bother you!
Thinking of reinstalling diablo2 again.. This game never lets one go does it?

It certainly doesn't Zavior. I'm trying to keep positive about the driving, once things like gear change, stopping, starting and clutch control are all second nature to me I think I'm really going to enjoy it :).

I'm getting quite into this Hardcore business, it's looking a lot of fun, if a bit nervy. Talk about rediscovering the game, gone from fragile teleporting MF runs to players 8 untwinked hardcore.

RL: It's almost 11 PM now, and I just got home from work an hour ago. I'll be back at the office again tomorrow morning at around 7 AM. It's most likely gonna be like this till a good stretch into the new year... *sigh*

D2: Well, I got my fishy waiting for me and he is safe alright, but I doubt I can do it in my sleep. I'll probably get him killed if I try.
So that only leaves ZZZzzz.
