Swirl's Auradin Guide

Introduction: This is my first ever guide so please dont abuse me. I am going to explain the Auradin build and variations and hopefully this might help you.

what is an Auradin?: An Auradin is a Paladin that uses items that grant the Auras it will use instead of using your skill points.

Stats of an Auradin
Str: Just enough to wear equitment.
Dex: Enough for 75% Block and equitment.
Vita: All the rest go in here.
Energy: Dont even think about it no points here.

Skill points
20 into Fire resist
20 into Lightning resist
20 into Salvation
20 into either Charge(pvp)/Zeal(pvm)
20 into Holy shield if you can

Equitment
helmet-Dream best socketed in Bon visor.
shield-Dream best socketed in 3os pally shield with 45 resists.
Armour-Dragon in archon plate.
Weapon-Hand of justice in beserker axe if you can.
Amulet-Angelic you need that AR with the ring set bonus.
Ring*1-Angelic ammy you will get lots of AR from this.
Ring*2-Raven frost for basically everything it gives.
Belt-Verdungoes hearthy cord is the best choice.
Gloves-Draculs you just cant beat that lifetap.
boots-I personally think gores but im not to shore

Thats really all i can cover because im not really a good pvper and dont really have strategy. O yeah remeber those Charms like torch and anni thanks.:afro:
 
Thats a quicky, but nice, its the basic, but i wouldny bother with 20 into zeal invest into the holy sheild, do about 5-6 into zeal.

with my auradin, i built him around only have to swing if i need to, so i pumped vengance up, and i can 1-2 hit most anything (besides bosses/superuniques) just IMO, for whatever reason im not a fan of angelic, so i would sub maras for ammy and bk or cheaper a dawrf here, and at this point in hell even with perf helm and sheild w/ 45+ ur going to need a ton of charms to make decent resist in hell, that another reason for maras, but anni/touch will help.. and i used a deamonhead helm to be diffrent :)
 
A few comments. I have played the auradin myself and thus I have a few things to say. Your skill layout isn't the best. First of all you miss the basic aura from the auradin. Conviction. Conviction will lower the enemy resistance significantly and granting you more killing speed and survivability! An average slvl of 15 is recommended for the -100% resistance.

So if you need to add another skill to your setup you will have too many skills to max. If you max the skills you said and put 15 in conviction and not forgetting the pre req's you will need to spend 111 skill points (already subtracted 11 from quests). Which ofc is too much and most people will probably only get to lvl 90. Since Salvation only adds 6% and 4% damage to holy shock and holy fire the wise thing to do is to lose that skill and only try to max it if you have points left. Another thing to do is to take points from Holy Shield and put them in Salvation or make a optimized lay out. Say you take 4 points from Holy Shield you only lose 1 blocking % and some defense. However I would max Holy shield and forget about Salvation, but that's your choice. Maxing zeals isn't needed at all. Just pump it to the 5hit Bp and you'll be fine. In PvP some extra points in Charge is always welcome

The gear section is okay and I would use gores too. However I wouldn't use Angelic's combo. In PvM you won't even need AR because HoJ has the Ignore Target's Defense mod. So you will always hit them. I don't know about PvP since I never used mine in PvP. Instead of those I used another Raven for the dex and a Highlord for the ias and deadly strike.

Besides from those points an Auradin is pretty easy, but I've seen better guides. Especially ones with strategy experience, because everybody can make a character if you say max this and wear that. The skill in PvP is to know how to use your character to his advantages.
 
I am not sure, but I think we have an auradin guide already, auradin without conv in pvp? and dont call thing like this guide, it isnt one, its just another "look-how-I-did-it" thread, how can u even make a guide if ur not sure about the eq..
