~ SPHC Ladder Part V ~

My pally feelthezeal just spanked diablo on players 8 in normal and got a sick res all, 30 run/walk, 1-51 light damage circlet but it was eth :( So I put it on my merc who now does near 450 damage with my fant aura. I defeated shenk and eldrich and reached level 34 before packing it in for the night. Singleplayer rocks!
 
Well Igor it will be almost impossible to reach level 99 with this guy no matter how many charms I put on him. I can kill most characters on players8 but when there are OK:s there will be problem. I can do Baalruns on players5 but it's very risky because it takes a few hits to kill the OK:s with berzerk and with other monsters swinging at you and zero defense and no shield you are helpless.
I won't stop playing him I will do Baalruns and see if I can complete my grail and he will probably level a bit more before I have got the grail.

I started to play with my freezezealot again found him way down in my character selection screen.
He ran through act5 and made destroyer. He killed Baal and his minions with a rare long sword doing 5-23 in damage. I will try to get a low damage 3s sword and make crescent moon with. Speed and massive Colddamage is nice. To kill CI I will use the crecsent moon static field and a lot CB. The same goes with OK:s low physical damage=no risk for IM death.

My freezealot is doing great in nightmare. Had now problem to run through Act1. I have some really nice equipment on this guy right now and he have reached level 52.

Crescent Moon War Axe (I'm the only one getting a Crescent Moon in a War Axe)

Herald of Zakarum Pdiamond
Lava Gout (a level 10 enchant don't hurt)

I will put on a Seraph Hymn when I reach the appropriate level

My zealot just got destroyer to, but with crappy gear :p It took a long time to kill the minions of destruction and baal but it was worth it. NM is proving to be a challange and the FE bug in hell is probley gona cut my life short. I'm only level 45 though and still have all of NM to tho.
 
Hello again all. I'm back from vacation, and have started Clarise up again. Before holidays I left her at the Outer Cloister WP, and today I have she defeated Andariel and reached lvl 20. I read the Ghost guide, which gives me a few ideas as it is quite similar to this build, in particular going C-C looks like it might be a good idea, though the points for WB would sure be useful somewhere else..... I realized that it is going to be hard to max all the skills I would like to with this char, but I'll see where it goes.

Clarise lvl 20 Assassin Act 2 Norm.

Here is no vacation for this guy Chilly_Ploppy have defeated Duriel, Mephisto and big daddy himself.
And all this on players8 can't remember playing at players8 this long in the game. The most fun thing is to play bosses and see after some seconds that half of their life is gone. Then rest of the fight goes a bit slower nut no danger at all.

A quick update on my ladder characters:

Christina, Assassin, dead at the age of 33 in the Chaos Sanctuary (no vit tourney)

Anneka, Amazon, level 29 in the Flayer Jungle

Izzy, Druid, level 7 having cleared the Den (Brother Bear tourney) - Borlag, please could you add him to the ladder when you next do an update.

DaisysRevenge, level 24, on hold

All new characters and users added to this point...

As some of you have noticed, I've been forced to go a bit inactive again. Seems that I just can't find the time to play and manage the ladders and at the same time take care of the baby and household. This basically means that I will have to "resign" from the ladder management...

So...basically, are there any volunteers to continue where I left off? I would provide you with the instructions and the login information for the website. The update process is nothing more than adding few simple lines:

u;username;password;
c;charname;

This is all there is to it, if the username exists, skip that part and just add the character.

I'd appreciate if the volunteers would contact me via e-mail: [email protected] or via MSN or ICQ (in my profile), as I'm not sure when I get the time to scroll through this thread again.
 
Good luck with the baby and household! It is really more impotent things that entertainment IMO.

Come back after you find more free time though!
 
Hey CB welcome back! Did you have a good time?

Dragu is now a Destroyer and in Act I NM. So far I have been very lucky with my drops. Every thing dropped thus far on my journey has been put to use right away. It's amazing how some of the often overlooked mid level equipment is useful. I just seem to find what I need at the time I need it most :thumbsup:

I did have some NDEs due to overconfidence in the WSK but most of normal was a breeze at /players 4. I need to be less reckless in NM because the stakes get higher :scared: and I don't want to lose another character to something silly like player error.

My zon and I are taking our first gentle steps into Hell mode. All I can say is "Holy smokes, Batman!".

After cruising Normal and NM at /players 8, I've pushed it up to /players 4 in Hell and she spends half her time running for her life. :scared: An x-strong zombie minion popped her for about 500 pts (out of her max 552) in one shot. I would've checked for an FE on the boss but was far more interested in staying alive, i.e. emulated Sir Robin.

This is gonna take some getting used to. She's about to go see Raven so wish her luck.

I just started SPHC. Its going really slow, but Im liking this players 8 business. Im level 15, and I havent even left the Stoney Field yet. Beautiful.

Im making a Phoenix Strike Assasin. We will see how she goes.
 
Bad news everybody! SniPe_XR has fallen!

I was doing some MF runs tonight with her. I did around 3 Pitruns finding an Arioc's Needle. Then I started running TreshSocket. I ran him for a while without any good finds, then it happened. I rushed by a group of super fast Hell Spawn while being Amped. It happened so fast I couldn't react.

Condolences Xorcer. It's a hard blow losing a guardian.

Wish I could remember what I was right about.

Clarise is developing nicely. She has found the cube and killed Radament in act 2. She's using blade fury with fade for her main skills at the moment, waiting for LS to put any points into a trap, and don't want to spend too many points in BF. After looking at the build I was planning and the ghost guide I have decided to go C/S because she will need the dex for AR anyway, and she won't have the skill points for WB because she is going to be putting some into BF. This means she'll have to find some claws both with good mods and with good damage. I'm also thinking Venom might make a nice finishing touch: poison, lightning, and phys dmg should cover anything she encounters, but I'll have to wait and see if she has the points for it.

Sorry to hear about your death, it's tough to loose a Guardian (I know). But it's better to make her guardian before they die. Noone can take away that you made her guardian.

I gotta admit, it's damned hard to make her a Guardian after she dies. :p

Seriously, sorry to hear about the loss, XorceR. At least she died playing for fun rather than still questing for her Guardianship. I hope Bullseye can reach her lofty heights of accomplishment.

Yeah I tried twice with skelliemancer but it didn't work so I changed my strategy :lol:
