if yer looking for runewords polearms are the way to go, but if uniques are what yer looking for there are some deadly spears like arioc's needle, it has ITD, 50% deadly strike, is fast enugh for pvm, but not pvp and its cheap, if yer playing east nonladder next time i find one ill give it too ya.

there are a lot more good polearms than spears.
BOTD works great in either one though, great poleaxe or ghost spear.

im talking cheap, pvm. that spear, g-face, gores cb gloves and an ow belt you can do comperable dmg to a low btod.

yeah i agree, you can make a good barb for cheap with that setup. i just really wish ariocs could hit the last WW bp.

its only a sheal away though, i havent done the equation but it gets you closer.
an e hone sudan is also pretty nice.

yeah it does hit 1st bp, so it can still be used effectively for ww.

also agree, eth hone sundan upped to ghost spear is an amazing endgame spear. great crushing blow, triple shael'd hits last WW bp.
