Sorc question

Sorceress forum has too few people to respond to me.

The background of my sorc is this: She is a blizz/firewall sorc with the followingvm

skills:
max blizz
max iceblast
10 cm
max firewall
15 FM
1 to all preqs(8)
93 skills used, 17 left

items:
rare circlet 2 sorc skills fcr 15 all res
rare ammy 2 cold skills 11 all res poison red 50%
rare orb 2 sorc skills 20fcr 1 to blizz, 1 to firewall
skin of vipermagi
lidless
magefist
rare boots
rare rings
snowclash/rare belt with 24fhr and dual res

I don't feel like trading or mfing at the moment to improve...

my question is: would it be better to max a cold synergy or to finish maxing both cold and fire masteries?

I am leaning toward maxing cold and putting extra into ice bolt...

From my sorc knowledge (shaky ground) i think lvl 17 for cold mastery is the usual stopping point. I can't remember why but i'm sure someone can give a better reason.

Assuming your a blizz first and firewall second person i wouldn't see the problem with putting more into fire mastery. But i'm an idiot in general so wait for someone smarter to reply and use what i said to laugh or joke about.

By the way Shinnok, who do you think will replace Pierce as Bond when he quits being Bond? I think I will :lol:

Well Peirce said that he was done with Bond due to talks breaking down.

As for who should replace him, any British/Irish/Scottish/Aussie over 30 and "sexy" is up for the roll. Unfortunatly i don't qualify under 2 of those categories.

But i am dead sexay.




I hope gorny doesn't mind the slight otf of this discussion. And if he doesn't like it he can kiss my sexy buBANNED

As far as cold mastery goes, it can only reduce resistances to -100%, so any more is overkill. I think it is at level 17 that meph gets -100% cold res?

I would consider first maxing cm and then fm because of blizzard's devastating damage.

Im pretty sure thats when the cold mastery itself gets -100%

You need lvl 34 or so cold mastery to be -175%, which is the cap for monsters.
