Socketing the spirit shroud

I just found this unique. Is it useful to socket it with something and wear it for the cbf and +1skills?

I'm currently using a lvl69 strafe/FA bowazon, using kuko shakaku and a vipermagi.

Perhaps I should stick to the vipermagi for the resists...?

First, welcome to the SPF, hope you post an introduction.

As for the Spirit Shroud, its an okay armor, but nothing special. If you do have a vipermagi atm, I would stick with it since I dont think getting chilled is that much of a problem compared to resists. Even if you socket it, I there are many cheap things to socket in it that will substantially improve it. Thus, I would just save the socket for something else that you may find later
