So...what is your Magic Find? (East Ladder)

The reason I ask is because I want to know if I am likely to see premium drops anytime. My primary mfer is a lvl 92 JavaZon with an Inf merc. I really have no problem with any part of the game (occasionally with the black souls, just have to keep reviving my merc). My mf is anywhere between 350-400. I have a nigma, isted shako, war travs, goldwrap, chance gloves, gheeds, a mf ammy, a nagel, several smfcs, etc.

I figure I have a pretty good setup, given its versatility, I would just like to know what everybody here likes to use and where they like to hunt.

It's all a matter of preference and what you're looking for.

What you have seems like quite a good setup and you should have no problem with things.

If you're looking for good socketables, then usually no mf is best, while if you're looking for lots of rares and magics, very high mf is the best way to go. I have about 600 mf on my blizz sorc and I use her to exclusively mf meph and andy and even with that much amount, I still get a good amount of uniques as well.

I have no prob killing things, but I also want to be able to get top of the line drops. I guess what I am looking to find out is, if I were to keep this configuration, would it be possible for me to find something like Tyraels? I guess my ultimate question is does my current MF level restrict me from finding certain items?

Nothing "restricts" from finding items except the mosnters and area levels. You can go around with 0 MF and if you are lucky enough you can get a Tyreal s or other very difficult to find uniques. What mf does of course is increase your chances of ever finding those, but is not infallible, no matter how much mf you will still see white cracked items eventually.

Thats what I figured it was. I just didn't know if you absolutely had to be at a certain level to find certain items.

Nope, your level in no way affects drops, although it can affect things such as crafting and gambling.

My MF is like 30% on all but one char, who has maybe 200%. Mostly due to my Wealth armour. I haven't done much MFing, needless to say.

I used to go along on public Baal runs and kill Baal after everyone left. Can't really do that anymore, of course.

About 600-650% on my orb sorceress, I havn't bothered to count in a long time. She has a whole inventory of mf small charms, though, so it is a bit difficult to play. Can still do Andy, Meph, and Pindle in Hell easily.
