Ai received and safely to Harrogath! I'll hold onto him to make sure Brak and his assumed melee Paladin survive IM'ville.

I've had my way with Dickinson and sent her on to sirpoopsalot after amassing some gold in Lower Kurast. Bishop is received and up and running. Never played this particular build so testing him out a bit before getting into the Act, but Bishop seems pretty solid thus far. I'll see if I can fix that. I know these guys are all named after poets, but I can't help but think of the Monty Python sketch everytime I read about 'Da Bishop.'
Just had a weird idea - why not try something different for a change ? Like maybe not trying to screw up a char. Or do you not know how to build decent chars ?

I never actually said I've done anything bad to them. I just enjoy talking like a villain to build up the suspense for those downstream of me (and it looks to be working :devil: ). Since Frost, I've toned down my broken build tactics immensely. I didn't realize I'd be the only one going that route. Felt like a hippie in sandals and a tiedye T-shirt at a formal dinner after the first round was finished. So from now on I promise to put one point in every skill like all good builds do...o wait is it two points in every other skill..:scratch: ..I forgot.
Oh dear! I haven't looked yet but that sounds ominous.
Oh well, there's nothing like a challenge, might as well go see what I'm in for...I guess :azn:
Edit: Gertrude-Stein sent on to EJB...AND, I took a look at Frost and am less than pleased to have to waste my time frustrating myself by playing him. I do like a challenge and being twinked may well be able to get through if I'm careful, so will try to survive instead of committing suicide, but I like to enjoy the game rather than it being a chore! *sigh*
Edit2: I received Frost with lots of gold. Will dump the lot before I start so you can pick it off the sent version Waflob, cheers.

Egads. Frost sounds worse and worse the longer he survives. At least act 4 is short. I've just examined by table, though, and unless *lots* of people die lower in the table than Frost, I'll never have to worry about playing him :badteeth:
HD the Assassin has been successful in killing Diablo! She is no "Frost", that is for sure.
I am beginning to worry about that Barbarian. Only Gertrude Stein remains between me and an experience that appears to be less than rewarding. If he survives long enough to get to me, I play him in NM Act 1. Please, Butzull or EJB, take one for the gipper!:undecided: I for one will remember your deed as a good deed!:smiley:

Still, I'm most interested in seeing how long before the time bomb goes off and finding out what all of the hullabaloo is about!

Well, I for one think I'd rather play him in act 1 NM than act 5 Normal... no Ancients, no Baal, frenzytaurs, no Lister...

:soapbox: You're free to do what you choose with any build - and don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Frost motivated me to try my darndest to last longer than you do in this tourney. :wink3:
Although, Frost does kindof inspire a different kind of tourney idea: 'Try to kill the person below you'. Basically this tourney and rules, except the objective is to see how many people immediately after you aren't able to survive the next act because the build sucks... :scratch:

Thanks for the pep-talk:thumbsup:. Part of the reason I haven't done anything too bad recently is because all the builds I'm getting are solid cookie-cutter builds with no weaknesses to target, and my gear compliments them pretty well so they're worth keeping around. I might have some fun with the pali though. They're somewhat fragile creatures.
As everyone has said, people are free to do what they want...and I'm free to let the English blood my parents gave me make me whinge about it.

I'm sending Sidney onto scarred_life... he defeated Diablo without much trouble. Hellforge - Amn, which is nice...
Frost has lived to fight another day. I don't think I'll bother any Chaos Sanctuary runs with him, EJB can take him towards the Ancients.
Consider him sent...he will be in a sec.

Well I just finished Gertrude off...I got a feeling I have a very long week or so ahead of me...
Wolron expect Gertrude here pretty quick...
Just for my records...what Act should we be finishing up this week? I thought it was Act 4 and then next sat. we pass for Act 5...or am I a week behind? Thanks

Edit: Frost could be alot worse...I do have some gear for him so...This will actually be kinda fun...maybe...Butz must have done a lot of work with him, and I have him for a long time in Act 5 so in theory I could either turn him around completely, or make him worse...hmmm...Wolron..you have mail.
