Sorry to hear that Hrus. I've gone through my share of injuries, and I haven't always had medical insurance to afford a trip to the doctor - after 30-40 broken bones or torn ligaments/tendons, I've picked up a few things that really seem to get me back to full speed quickest:
1) I find that typically the first 2-3 days are by far the worst. For broken bones, always use the
R.I.C.E. protocol during this time, but for ligaments and tendons you should stick to the
M.E.A.T. protocol (don't let this one intimidate you - I'm mostly referring to the M.E. portion of this protocol). Of course, if the pain is significant - don't push yourself but try to do a little bit - wait a couple of days and let the pain ease.
2) For the first couple of weeks, try some non-weight bearing exercises to maintain as much flexibility as possible. Start small and add more over time. Again, don't try to do too much - it's easy to get impatient. I didn't do anything for flexibility when I broke my thumb, and I think it's part of the reason it's only about 90% as strong as it was before (~2.5 years later). If you find 90+% flexibility returns
without pain before two weeks are up, move on to step #3.
3) Start adding small amounts of weight and resistance. For a wrist, I'd go to an office-supply store and purchase a 'stress-ball' (i.e. they're made of foam and about the size of a tennis ball). Bend your wrist at different angles and squeeze. If you decide to try weights, start very small (1kg maximum). Don't get impatient, and don't be scared to take a day or two off if you feel you've overdone it.
... I've tried several times to 'take it easy' and 'let things heal at their own pace', but I find that just doesn't work well for me. I waited over 9 months for my broken shoulder to heal on its own, but in the end I had to use excersize to bring it back fully - after ~5 months the healing stagnated and I still wasn't able to do very much. About 4 weeks of light exercise made an amazing difference.
In other words, stay flexible and keep your blood flowing, but don't get your blood throbbing.

... back on topic, I'll email Eliot to Waflob after he successfully complete's A3 with Frost. I'll even include the cube with the character this time .
