Good morning.
Well, I'm a bit confused right now. There have been so many rule adjustments that I lost track. Especially the sorc rules are not clear to me (I play a pally, so perhaps I don't HAVE to understand these

).
For the other classes, there are fixed skill trees we have to use: only those named in the first post. Exception: Pallies may choose Offensive or Defensive, but after the choice has been made hard points may be put only in the chosen tree. This far it is easy.
Now there are skills granted by objects. These fall in two categories: skills designed for the type of char you are playing and skills available to all. The rule as I understand it says: Everybody may use any skills from objects as long as these skills come from any tree mentioned above, regardless if it is designed for your char or not. I guess an offensive tree paladin must not use defensive skills granted by objects though. Then we have the special case 'melee skills'. Any melee skill is allowed. Now, what exactly is a melee skill? For sure Zeal is, as well as Berserk. What about critical strike (from peace runeword)? What other skills are 'melee'?
Furthermore, we have charges. As far as I understand it, these are treated the same way as other skills granted by objects.
I didn't read anything about ctc stuff yet (maybe I just overlooked that). Is it allowed to use ctc AMP? ctc Valk (again from Peace)? Tornados? Bone spears? Usually the levels of ctc effects are quite low and shouldn't give too much advantages, but there are quite some exceptions either in level or in usefulness like amp.
EDIT: Amp and valk are from allowed trees, so i guess these aren't a problem. Just imagine ctc skills from other trees
As I said before, sorcs and sorc skills I don't understand. Especially not when I think about other classes using sorc skills from objects
