Simple Energy Shield question

Wondering, will damage returned (as in from Thorns or Iron Maiden) be reduced since Energy Shield redirects it to mana? :scratchchin:

Not sure about ES. Blood Mana seems to pass right through it.

PDR and DR% do affect those. Werewolves with high leech (ll%, 'tap, Feral Rage, Huger) and high DR% can survive enough IM hits to safely do Chaos runs.
