any ed%/+max, ed%/+min, or ed%/+min/+max jewel are bugged in items other than weapons is bugged. the way it works, i believe is if there's ed%/max then the ed% will not apply to the max only to your min damage. if there's ed%/min then the ed% will not apply to your min damage only to your max. and if there's all three then the ed% doesnt apply to either. i think this is the way it works. just dont put an ed%/max, min in anything other than a weapon (ie. shield, helm, armor) and you'll be fine.
 
i just did.

it's a big deal for lld since a lot of any physical llder's damage comes from jewels.

THe only reason why i went through this thread is because im planning on making a hybrid zon....even though im still poor......

Rebuilt and Improved

Less bow damage the previous, but higher res, higher life, higher java damage, less charms. Will still squeeze out another 40-50 life out of her once I've traded for two better high life passive skillers, and there are also some other minor improvements I'm thinking of. Nevertheless, I think she is mostly done in any case :cloud9:

kijya, that is a truly powerfull zon you have there . good work ! more of the charms you need and it's really a killing machine . you have CS and GA for bosses, LF for thight packs like cows, MS for mayor packs, Strafe for lined up or really spread out monsters and FA for even more crowd control . that's great; you have covered every aspect of amazon ability for crowd control ! i really like your Alize-SOV, she just keeps smokin that shiat !XD again, good work ! keep it up ... i think you've just inspired me for something...hmm...
 
Kijya..thats a very nice ama you got there. When I get the time to play Diablo2 , I also was thinking an ama like that.

But what is it with your charms? They look somewhat defensive for my behalf..I would rather go with the usual max damage and/or javaskillers.. resists and life isnt very high priority with me:)
 
The max res and semi high life is for tanking purposes while I use CS, and for such enemies as souls mostly. Last time I felt her lacking in those aspects most, her damage is still high enough too blow things up without a sweat :azn:
I'm considering a 20/20 monarch for her atm, would effectively increase cs quite a bit more then a couple skillers would. But getting some java skillers might be tested later too.

Passive skillers vs "max charms" is a battle of it's own. Since I got low passives I gain both defensive (d/a/e) and offensive (critical) from skillers. For the bowside I still gain higher returns from critical, then I gain from +9 max, so I'm looking to replace that 6/46/38 for another passive. On the other hand, I don't want to loose 4,7k multi in the LCS, so then I would need better small charms :laugh:

yeah right ... switched out a lot of the items and leveled a bit, now aiming for 99 to complete her.

Higher javelin damage, slightly lower bow damage, removed atmas so no more chance to cast amp, but increased critical/deathly strike. Increased -% enemy light res, higher life.

But above all: bye bye ugly andy, hello sexyness.

Possible improvements a bit here and there now, so got much to do still. But enjoy the eye candy anyway, even if it still lacks a slight bit of its future flavor.

how do you win vs anything that does elemental damage with res like that. great set up and all, but just curious.

straight projectile type elemental dmg (fireball, chainlightning) are easy to dodge with high frw. if you keep on the move, you can kill a blizz sorc before you get hit. trappers are a bit harder to dodge with shadow master and mindblast, but if you run in one direction in a spiral then its not too difficult. V/t and auradins give me a lot of trouble, but then again any smiter can be really tough for a bowazon.

if i really need the resists, i can switch in a pair of tri resist boots, high lords for light resist, wisps for light absorb, or small charms with resists. most of the time, at least in pub games where the majority of duelers are smiters, resistances arent the most important stat to boost.
