Saturdaily... from rainy California

Doesn't seem too often that a guy from California can start the daily... and at 8:40 in the morning...

RL: Rain on our Christmas Parade. Grading.

D2: Finished off Act I Hell with the paladin... Andy dropped Isenhart's helm and a blue. Something is keeping her from dropping her "quest" drop... dunno what I'm doing wrong. Anyway... onto act II. I'll start with the sorc... she's anxious to try out her new Spirt Shield.

Re: Saturdaily... from rainy California

It is rainy even in texas :)
but today I am going back to snow prague :D

D2 : maybe I will do some CS run or MP baal on houston on airport, I have enoough time there :)

Re: Saturdaily... from rainy California

RL: Nothing.

D2: Some untwinked 1.13

OVG: No

Re: Saturdaily... from rainy California

You were in Texas, bassano?! WHY did I not know?!

Computer: The plan the tech and I made last night was for me to go pick him up at 10am this morning. So I drove to their place just around the corner and called to tell him I was outside. ...His girlfriend picks up the phone, and she says that he's at another job down south and wouldn't be back for at least an hour. So that's three days in a row that he's failed to even try to help.

RL: No time for the tech the rest of the day. In a little bit I gotta get my suit on and go to a funeral. The last time I wore it was about 1.5 years ago, so I tried to put on the pants a couple hours ago... and they don't fit. I've gained maybe 30 lbs. since then. I'm gonna have to SQUEEZE in.

Probably going to spend the rest of the day with the GF. So no D2/OVG.

Supposed to be seventy degrees here tomorrow! Much better than the dreary, drizzly weather we've got now. I guess the clouds make for an appropriate day for a funeral, though.

Re: Saturdaily... from rainy California

RL: Xmas party at mominem's later on. Woo. I need to go find some envelopes for the little cards that let people know I donated ducks or chickens or rabbits to people in various parts of the world in their honor. I'll likely eat something. I may take the recycling out, and I may wash clothes, but who knows.

For the moment, I've woken up, shaved/showered and made coffee, and am now drinking coffee. Woo.

D2: I might patch up to 1.13 and check out how video works with the new patch, and update the mac guide. But the only 'problems' I had was that the graphics were a bit pixelated. I'm pretty sure there's a specific Intel graphics card (GMA 960 or so?) that wouldn't run D2 at all, but I have no such machine to test. So if anyone has a MacBook with one of the integrated Intel cards (mine is an NVidia), and that wouldn't play D2 before, please let us know if the new patch works.

Re: Saturdaily... from rainy California

Stay here with us bass. :(

RL: <3 rain. Can't get enough of it. Currently moving stuff to a new laptop. That should eat up much of my day, sadly.

D2: Maybe LK or MP.

OVG: Still need to find a group to complete a mainstream Mabi quest, so maybe/maybe not.

Re: Saturdaily... from rainy California

RL: Was going to help put a new roof on my cousins house, but I said screw it.

D2: Questing Blizz Sorc through the rest of Act 3 Normal.

OVG: Finish off the gang tags in San Andreas having already done the Unique Jumps/finding the Oyesters in Los Santos.

Re: Saturdaily... from rainy California

*snip!*

RL & D2: If I ever meet Isenhart, I *WILL* fight him.

Re: Saturdaily... from rainy California

RL: Loving the California rain.

D2: Leveling my PvP firesorc. Pindle at the moment, but hoping for MP Baals.

Re: Saturdaily... from rainy California

@TRM: I went even through austin , shame I did not know you are texan one
I was on college station and I went to trip to san antonio through austin

@Nagi: I like meal here but beer It is not enough for me :)
But PvP games are last time more with american players

I have last hour here beacuse during 90 minutes I will be in air to paris
was nice experience

Re: Saturdaily... from rainy California

RL: See below.

D2: After all the recent talk of council running along with Fabian's great results and pat thread, I'm questing a future gf barb. Initially I thought about using frenzy, but have decided to go WW instead. My Grief PB will get the call for the primary weapon, which just leaves the other to be decided. Likely it will either be an Oath BB, or after recently finding a Vex rune (IFT to come shortly once I boot into Windows) I'm considering Death in an eth CS (1.12 version though, as I can't be bothered getting a 1.07 one). 'Poops made a post about Death still being viable for WW even though it's missing the IAS, since ultimately it allows for faster kills, although his was a 1.07 I believe. I have another big surprise however that really sealed the deal for my interest in running council though, so that will also come in the IFT thread.... ;)

Re: Saturdaily... from rainy California

@bassano: Glad you enjoyed the US; hope you have a good flight. Will you be staying in Paris? Too bad I didn't get a chance to MP with you while you were here, but maybe some other time. :)

@ProtoMagus: Death kills well with Grief, yeah. I've only tested my Grief/Death (axes) setup in Baals, but I think I'm still leaning towards Death Cleaver over the Death 1.07 Berserker Axe. For swords, there's not really an option like Death Cleaver so Death should be as good as you can do without a second Grief (or a BotD or Last Wish, etc.). I'd definitely use Death over Oath.

RL: Been raining here in Florida, too. For about a week.

D2: Oh, yeah. Lots of D2.

Re: Saturdaily... from rainy California

RL: It's just starting to rain here in Memphis. Not really happy about it. I'll be leaving for job in 30 min. Really looking forward to a full day off tomorrow and some...

D2:Yes Sir. Just started using a run counter and did 300 Pindle. Probably will bump it up to 1000 after work tonight.

Good day to all

Re: Saturdaily... from rainy California

mareek: yeah it is a little shame I did not used my chance in MP more
From paris I am going right to prague so home :)

Re: Saturdaily... from rainy California

@Bassano: Yes, beer is far better in Czech Republic than US(significantly cheaper too) Hope you have a good flight and fond memories.

RL: Just got back from finishing my week's labor. Probably should have stopped at the market, but I'll scrounge dinner soon. At least its not raining, cold though.

D2: I suspect I'll spend the rest of my day on this. Need to get HF with my Frenzy barb. Now that I've seen a HR in LK, gonna do that some. And I may dabble in PvP, although I need a little gear, and have no character, so I'll have to really hustle to get high enough level for it.

Re: Saturdaily... from rainy California

@bassano: Damn, it sucks I didn't get a chance to do some Baals with you either, although I think you're mostly in PvP games. Why were you in North America anyways? :D Hope it was a fun trip.

RL: Study.

D2: Got trolled. Lost my 'Enigma'. :( (temporarily)

RL: Brain feels like half solidified lead poridge. Dropped by the book store and found the latest and greatest Wheel of Time novel, sorta miffed that the last novel is now 3.... At least the the tempo is better now in the first 100 pages. (Lets just say it doesn't feel like someones manuscript for an episode of 24 that takes 800 pages.)

D2: Mehbe, more likely to keep reading.

Re: Saturdaily... from rainy California

RL: Actually Sunday here but ah well. It's going to nudge the 40's celcius today in Perth... I gotta walk to the atm about 10 minutes away from home and get some cash for rent, after that I'm just gonna stay inside and sweat my *** off all day. Temperatures like these are not for Swedes like me.

D2: Maybe.
