Runewords with "aura when equipped" work on iron golems?

if you make an iron golem out of a beast, last wish, bramble, etc., does the golem have that aura? im guessing they don't, but i might as well ask

Actually they do. Making an iron golem out of Insight is a good choice that allows you to use another good weapon on merc.

Make it out of a cheap metal weapon and you're set. Just remember never to unequip the item giving you the Iron Golem charges, if you're not a Necromancer. Iron Golems already have Thorns, but only for themselves - I don't think there's a metal cross/bow to Edge/Harmony. Other than Insight, what cheap runeword has an aura worth making?

beast or last wish would be worth it, if you have a crap load of duped runes to replace the golem when it dies, but i aint in to that ****.

iirc igolem from charges die when you leave the game, so unelss you're a necromancer this is not worth it. For a necro insight golem all the way :azn:

lawbringer and edge are the only cheap ones appart from insight and harmony. (skill granting items link in my sign)

I find it unlikly that an igolem would poof because the item was a dupe. Rather then keeping the item ID it should just get a copy of all the properties on the item if you ask me :azn:
