How often do you view drops with Alt, or whatever you have it assigned to?

Alt is always pressed. I run with it pressed, I fight with it pressed, I check around after a massive melee (looking around for stuff I might have missed). Sometimes I'll lose something to leechers who wait for drops, 'cause I'm usually out there trying to pound as much as I can, but I can live with that - What's frustrating is when a boss dies and everything gets sucked up off the ground the instant it hits ... you know there's some guy playin' with one of those PICKITUP things.

Of course, I do have a problem in Cow games when so much stuff is on the ground that all the words don't always show.

I run into the same problem when cowing. I usually just pick up all the gold to free up some space. If that doesn't do it, I pick up all the pots and drink them :lol: .

Your problem seems to be a simple matter of playing public games too often.

It isn't unrealistic to assume that there's one cheater in every public game of 3+ persons.

There are cures.

Which low level runes are worth alot when having a horde of?

Forget which crafting recipe uses them but some people seem to want lots.

It isn't unrealistic to assume that there's one cheater in every public game of 3+ persons.

Excellent point, but then that raises the question: How do you avoid the public games? Do you just password your games and run one player all the time? Or do you have some way to find good people to play with?

Clans? A commonly-used chat channel? The Diablo.Net "Player Matchup" forum? Something else?

And OK, I gotta ask ... What cures?

there are no cures, if u want to get rich you cannot play 100% legit

Leave MP and play SP. Set the player count to eight and enjoy the items and experience. Nobody can take drops but you. Trading is still perfectly viable, and it doesn't have to be through Open Battle.net. The key though is finding one honest person.

If anyone comes back and has some answers for the "how to find good private games" question... do please add 'em. A bunch of folks mentioned that playing in public games is a problem... but then never mentioned how to avoid it (I mean other than playing 1-player passworded games
