Cause of demise: Well, I was doing a nightmare countess run when lag occurred on the 5th level of the tower. I whispered to my friends to check if it was my internet, but they got my message. So I went on to teleport to the countess, then lag occurred again. It didn't show me teleporting to the countess, so I left. After I couldn't make a game I realized the countess killed me during the lag.

Cause of demise: while on a routine meph run a sorceress came up to me and i didnt really think about it but next thing i knew i was trying to move out of the way but it was too late i had been tppked by a blizz sorcie ;/ lost a ton of gear that i cant replace by any means ;/

Cause of Demise: First hardcore charachter, solo untweeked (except for a few Perfect topaz's from a friend) MF'er. First encounter with Diablo after finally getting to level 24 for summon resist and Decrepify. Came at him with 10 skellies, clay golm and merc. Had his life down to 25% but merc and 7 skellies were dead so I decided to tp out and rebuild army. I had 150% MF from topazed armor, helm, chance guards and rare boots but resists were absolutely horrible. I decrep him as I approach with army in tow and as I pause to summon Clay golm on him, he lets loose with his devistating pink lightening and I die in 1/4 second flat. Hadn't even muled some of the set/uniques he found for me. Next time, TP right next to him so when I return, I am already on top of him. I knew better than that.

Cause of demise: Just got Guardian title so i was thinking "Why not start doing what you build her for?". So i started doing countess runs, after ~50 runs still no good runes, but i got a HoZ, i tele down and in to her room, landed in the middle of some extra fast, multishot, might aura and some other stuff archers, bad place to stand, tele to the upper corner, oh sh*t there was the countess, mana burn, extra fast, extra strong and some other mods, damn there goes oak down, damn there goes merc down, damn there went a full belt of full rejuvs down, damn i went down too.

Cause of Demise: Player killed. I just stood there in the cow level, happily grabbing stuff such as gems and then before I knew what was going on a bunch of bone spears penetrated my poor druid and he perished.
So what do we learn from all this? Pay better attention to the party screen, and if someone goes hostile, return to town immediately with a town portal. And never stay close to portals such as the cow level portal.

Decided to try out the hardcore aspect w/ a necro. Got it to act4 and thought i was ready 4 diablo w/ max fire resist and my 9 skeles clay golem and lvl 2 decrep (w/ items). only problem was i 4got to put a point in summon resist. he took out my skeles in one wake and then me w/ one big slap across the face.

Cause of demise: While doing a Baal run my mercenary got killed instantly so I teleported backwards and then portaled to town to resurrect him. Heading back down I targeted the monsters on the edge of the screen and thought I was going to blizzard them to oblivion when Oops..I still had teleport hotkeyed. Popped into a triple boss pack of Oblivion knights, Overlords and Dolls. Extra fast, Might, Conviction, and holy freeze...
none of them were cold immune so they would have all been dead with one blizzard if I'd cast it :(

Cause of demise: One of those "I don't knows". I'd cleared about half the plains when I came across a boss pack of those corrupted spitters. The Valk went down so I beat a retreat while recasting her. I made it around a canyon but a minion follows me. I don't think much of it, lay out a strafe volly, the minion hits me, deeds. 1091 life to zero in an instant.He didn't even spit on me! I didn't get a clear look the boss's mods but I think lag was the real issue. There was no aura and the minion seemed to tele towards me.

Parma was a blast. She was in some ways more fun than my Witchyzon from season1. She had a balanced attack, imagine that :D She will rise again.

I was in a public baalrun in the Throne of Destruction when a lvl76 elementalist druid joined the game, partied, got to the Throne with a tp and tppk'd me. I've never been pk'd before, and I hope this was my last time too. At least I know to watch out for higher lvls now.

Cause of demise: She was moving nicely thru the game, catching up to Uda, my other untwinked hc character, a lvl 41 bowazon. Kaen was fighting Meph and took a lightening hit. No problem, drank a red pot and started plinking arrows again and an evil force materialized next to her, hit her and she died. A ghostly evil force of all things. She is my first hc death and I mourn her loss. But, I restarted her, Kaen_Tu and am at lvl 42 in a5.

Cause of demise: Didn't realize public HCXL was ruined so bad been awhile since I logged in and tested the waters. I was attacked by the sorc with me killing baal. Didn't even see her move just hostiled me and I died she was casting blizz on baal. No TP PK BS. Oh well it's bound to happen to many I beleive blizzard workers and/or friends hacking this game still. I must admit I was running an anti tppk program and it even shut it down. Now that's a good hack if you want to ruin a game. We need a blizzard authorized Anti NTPPK program that kills the hacker automatically.
