Cause of demise: All was going well, teleing all the baal runs, had survived shenk dying causing the entire game to lag up in the middle teleing earlier, some nasty gloam boss packs, was cruising along, until this run. I only had 2 full juvs in my belt (nasty tele getting down+hot throne) and I was hanging back, i went to teleport NEAR lister to static them, he moved just as I clicked, sending me into his pack of minions, energy shield held me for about 2 seconds, but i dropped.
When I died, i had that damn escape menu up, but i hit "esc+up+enter" bringing me into... options. Yay! Energy shield held me up long enough to try again, but as i got it over exit, i died.
It was a fun run, but I managed to lose most of my good gear again, still enough left for one last try though! However, seeing how my last TWO sorcs, orb and fire, both died on nightmare baal before seeing any mf action, I think ill build a dueler first...

Lost (in stash and on body): +2 sorc, 129 mana, 20% fcr orb, 24 Viper, silkweaves, frostburns, 88 mana, 9 dex, some resists, 8 mf ammy, 50 mf tarnhelm (topazed), 54 life rare belt, two nice resist//fcr//stat rings, visecruant defender. Stash: 62% ed pally shield (level 12, found in chaos sanctuary, woulda been nice on a dueler!) 4 socket ornate plate.

Cause of demise: Those gall-dang Venom Lords you get when you open the last seals. WHOOSH, there they were... life drops like mad, hit all my potions, hit all my pinks, life hovers just above 0.... and then I'm outta potions. Didnt barely put a dent in them, despite just walking through EVERYTHING in the game like I was a brushing saw in a field of midgets.

Also lost: Four sorcs... I just cant make it past Andariel without demising. Thinking I should try something else.

I thought I'd do some River of Flame runs with my Javazon for a change, hoping to find a Caduceus suitable for a runeword. Started a game, checked the monster types in RoF - no LI so everything was well. Got my Barb in from second comp to give BO and started mowing everything down. Few LF to thin the crowds, some LS to soften packs and CS to deal with the remnants was good fun - until I got to Hephasto.

His mods didn't seem to be particulary nasty, only Might/EF, so I thought I'd join my Valk and Merc in the whacking action and CSed away at him. At this point some things happened very fast. A stray regurgitator fired at my Merc, prompting him to run away from Hephasto, my BO wore off and Hephasto deprived of my Merc apparently thought I was a much more viable target than my stupid Valkyrie. *Smack* 3/4 of my life were gone and I tried to Juv and run away at the same time. Prolly too late since the second *smack* took me down as I heard the gurgling Juv sound playing. I gurgled too in front of my comp.

Then /f med for some help so my Barb could loot her and thus only lost a 26% Gheed and the secksy eth Demonhorns Edge on my A5 Merc.

Cause of demise: Was Mfing hell Andy, which isn't that big of a deal. Just finished clearing the lobby on cats4, just opened the big doors to the throne room, and these Tainted totally obliterated my Necro, which had 1.4k life and his bone armor absorbed 900 dmg. Instant death. =/

I had cleared one wing of the Chaos Sanctuary and was headed up the center. I cleaned out a couple of small packs and had two Oblivion Knights in my way. Instead of backing off and using my ballista, I went forward. Dumb move. Boom! Iron Maiden and an instant tombstone...

Cause of demise: Was doing quick MF runs through Shenk, the unique next to Frigid WP, Pindle, and Meph when I decided i'd own the council in Trav too while I was at it. Wasn't even thinking straight, didn't think they could even touch me but 1 hammer took down the FE/Amp unique and his FE explosion took me down in one hit. Max all resists, 75% block, 1.2k life, never saw it coming.

Cause of demise: I just got to lvl 24 from doing tomb runs and I had blizz, so I figured why not try to solo duriel since I did everything else solo, and he killed me very fast ;/

Cause of demise: Teleporting to baal with my own lvl 14 bo teleporting in a triple bosspack gloams =[ survived the first salvo of lightning with i guess approx. 100 hp left. juved try to tele next salvo instant death. This was with max resists. Took my friends 10 minutes to get my corpse (allmost all sorc party + 1 crappy pala) because of nasty position (right next to corner with behind a lot of nasty gloams =P). Worst thing i lost was my 18/20/6 anni and 5 coldskillers and some very nice jewelry for my vlld ts sin =[

After a 4 month break from the game, I decided to give it another go, thinking that most of my bad habbits from softcore would no longer be with me, and they werern't....at first. I played very cautiously, staying back whenever I felt I was out of my depth, not rushing at all. However, I thought I'd go into act1 Hell for the first quest, knowing that my resistances would be very low. So we got the quest, then someone said "Lets do Andy"....next thing I new we were all getting rushed (bad softcore habbit :() we got passed Andy with little trouble, then someone made a tp to the Claw Viper Temple Level 3, where I was then ambushed by the lightning enhanced snake down there (I forget his name) I tried saving and exiting, but it was just not to be :( not bad considering that was my first HC character in 4 months, and I had no Elite, and even little average gear :)

Made a public game wiht lvl restriction for Act 1 Hell and in come one Necro. I quickly found he was Bone also so i considered leaving but I felt funny being a Bone Necro refusing not to play wiht another so I choose to stay. Ended up bying it right at the end of the DEN.

It is ok, those lame punks cant get me any other way as they havent got the skills to do it so they can have my trigged ear. I just love the pathetic people of this game.

was doing runs in the bloody foothills to level up my painstakingly levelled up merc..suddenly the locking mechanism on my IKEA purchased chair loosen and i fell backwards..next thing i knew i was getting off the floor looking at Shenk taking shots at HolyDude..lunged forward to my full rejuv but too late...IKEA............................ :hanky:

Cause of demise: Im still not sure how it happened....we had been questing through act 2-4 and killed of Diablo. Somehow izual had escaped us and we went back for another stab at him.

Mullbery had been tanking everything we encountered so far including duriel and diablo. As we find the passage to the plains of despair we split up, me and sorc goes one way, the rest in another direction.

Within 30 seconds the "HERE" chat poped up and i turned towards the other gang. As i do this i notice the sorc running (out of mana?) with a big pack of those balrog like creatures after her. She is past em, but i decide to turn back and help her anyway. When i get up to her position the demons charge me instead. Now i concider The balrog thingies to be the weakest monsters in the game, yet they somehow surprised me. BAAAM BAAAAM BAAAM. 1600 life down to zero in an instant. I didnt even have the time to press 1234.

no for the odd part. The sorc throws 1 orb....and they all die? Im still confused abou tit. what did these low easy to kill HP bastards have in their breakfast that diablo didnt?

Party member got loot, he looted and left. Never to be seen again. Another guy from the party tried to help me with new gear, almost forcing me to accept stuff. I gave him an Annhilus charm for beeing nice. Guess who would have gotten that one if he had return some semi crap items?

Anyway, my first 1.10 death

Cause of demise:I was busy doing Diablo while watching the Flames vs Canucks, game 6. The Flames were down 4-0 half way through the second. When they made it 4-4 I was so shocked that I forgot that Lord de Seis was out and I had just walked into his general vicinity...oops. Writing this right before the OT starts ^_^

Cause of demise: I entered the ruined temple to retrieve the tome and encountered an extra fast, mana burn, cursed pack of Magic Immune furry beast things. My bone armour protected me for a little while, but then disaster struck. Instead of pressing esc the exit, I somehow managed to minimize D2 and entered Windows desktop. By the time I got back in....deeds.
