[highlight]Cause of demise:[/highlight] Got careless with the first pack I ran into in Baals Throne Room. Got cursed and didn't try to run away quickly enough and drank a purple just a split-second too slow as well. This was my first character being played since I quit just about 3.5 years ago. It was just after this death that I remembered that I used to always give myself loot with another of my own characters on a 2nd computer. Just a little late to be remembering that!

Cause of demise: Being dumb. Didn't see the urdar smashing me due to the 5x urdars I had revived. I thought it was one of mine...guess not.

I had just transfered a ton of nice gear to him, too. He had maxed out res for once, and some neat MF gear... not anymore! lol!

Cause of demise: FE + FE/CE.
I was carefully fighting a FE archer boss on my way to Hell Countess not paying enough attention to notice the fact that it was actually two boss packs. So when the FE is about to pop I walk away a bit and start whacking the nearest archer which turned out to be a FE/CE boss.
The 65% CB on my 5 hit uninterruptable Zeal worked really well... POP! and at virtually the same time my merc toasts the FE... POP!

Don't know which one got to me first and which one got me deeded, but I know I did not get one-shotted. End result is all the same though...

My wife returned to the game after a year's hiatus and was amazed at how easy the game seemed with just a modest amount of twinkage. Well, at the start of play last night she bolted off the jail WP without a shadow or fade, leaving her Pally friend (me) in the dust. Two rooms away she gets pinned by champ goatmen and a boss pack of archers. I got there just in time to see her die.:cry: Lesson learned.

Was helping a friend through NM and got into CS. I had other chars to rush him but I wanted to see how powerful the barb was. Got IM'ed, but instead of going back to town through tp, I moved back a bit and accidently clicked on a doom knight I didnt notice until deeds screen showed up.
Atleast i got my gear back and a useful lesson!

[highlight]Cause of demise:[/highlight] Was doing what I thought was going to be a little light MF'ing and leveling in Act 2 Lost City, along with my trusty Act 3 Cold Mage merc. Ran into a triple boss pack of Assailants, Zombies and Saber Cats (the ones with the whips)... not exactly sure of what the boss attributes were but at least one of them was Cursed and Extra Fast, screen lagged ever so slightly and I was both Amped and surrounded, basically must have missed a block or a rejuve (or been hit in between juvies) as poor old Don_Keyes had successfully fought off this kind of threat many, many times before. :sad2:

Lost a GA, lowish LS, half decent Pally circlet and miscellaneous other mid-range gear (mostly crafteds and yellows). Biggest loss was that I hadn't used one of his Socketing quests. However, Don_Keyes rides again... he has been reborn on US East as a Ladder Season IV as a Tesladin. :thumbsup:

Note: This death actually happened about a month ago but I thought I should record it now (better late than never I hope).

Cause of demise: Was doing some glitched Meph runs, hopped over the wall in Durance 3. Bremm had conviction, and there were 2 unique Blood Lords with their packs I missed the hotkey for juvs and that was deeds. This was my 1st hc death and I was so mad at myself I saved and exited before I remebered that the necro I was using to make games could loot. Grrrr.

The victim of my own kindness...
Hell Baals were over, got to use my full Tal's set for the first time (after finding a Gul rune in the KTA run and trading for armour and amulet, only other decent rune I have is Mal, all self-found) and I was kicking some bootaay...wanted my smiter to feel the same way so I made 'N Heavens' with 'O Um' in the description to complete his getup...no one is biting and by now I have run Meph, then Andy, so I decide to start on WSK2...someone joins! 'gelpm' (with acc name same name) immediately flashes up 'i run tunnel mf'...now, even though the missus had made me watch a chick movie before I could get on the game I was in a good mood and didn't care that his presence and non-trading attitude might ruin my trade potential...I replied with 'go for it dude'...re-enter tp...instadeath...
I fell for one of the oldest tricks in the book, due to me thinking that people on at the later hours would be the mature and somewhat older gamers like myself and this guy was like me; needed any opportunity he could to get levels/items due to limited time or he just plain didn't have any friends...script hack to kill, usual flashscript of "<yourchar> is a noob, ezpk kkthxbai" but the part that intruiged me the most was "visit us at www.bmpk.us" that came up afterwards...
I've heard of BlueMoon, but I was under the impression they were legit PK'ers who didn't use hacks and cheats...oh well, i'm back to square one again, but only in terms of getting a char up to that level again (which is a pain in the preverbial as I get **** all time on the damn game!!) as I have Shako, Viper etc to cover it 'til I get another set but man...a whole website advertising 'gg' PK Stats when the people obtaining them are a bunch of pathetic cheaters?!? Gimme a break...

I was running through to get forge as I didnt do that quest. I was on the phone w/ a salesman and was listening to the spiel when I ran across a unique and some stupid things wraiths. I was killing fine until I noticed my life dropping to like 3 so I hit fp but not fast enough. Damn't It took me month to build this guy. I aint as kool as ya'all and dont really know hoe to plvl. I have given Out tons of ghear over the last 3 weeks I hope someone remembers me when I rebuild!!!!! Well life goes on time to build another druid (BTW funny thing is I had 40 stat points and 16 skill points unused) Damnit!!!! LOL

I was (so I thought) perfectly positioned: Top of the screen, in between two arms of the "X" pattern of the Charged Bolts from the Lightning Enchanted (no Multi-Shot, no other enchantment) Unique more than 1/2 screen away, while the army pounded on him. Then I hear a "sizzle - grunt", see my 50% life bar, realize I'd been hit with an "invisible" bolt, mash the juv key just as I hear the dying wail.

Cause of demise: Bad luck, bad judgement and ofc LAG!! I was running the tombs, leveling up for Durry. I enter a chamber and find boss pack of wraiths and some zombies. I engage (fireclaws) and revert to human in an instant. This was the timer, not the monsters (I think). I say to myself, " thats ok, I am freshly twinked with my Rogues bow, I'll just step back a few and plink them off." (judgement error #1) I take a few steps to the side and BOING, I am right back in the middle of them and it's starting to hurt. Pot-pot, panic, try to run back again. (error #2, should have tried to shift back to bear) BOING!! back in the pack and deeds.

Cause of demise: Making another magic-find Baal run. Had a nice quiet trek through level 3 with easy fights against Blood Lords and Succubi.

Cursor input from the cordless mouse suddenly flakes and runs me into the frenzied blood lord horde, right next to the boss. Three rejuvs downed as I tried to run out and it was all over.
