right now im working on a vengeance conviction pally, and with the use of the resist fire light and cold it passively raises your max resists, that in combination with guardian angel which raises max resists, if you had 100% resistance, does that make you immune?

yes it would but as the guy above me said its capped at 95%

Use Guardian Angel + Full Iratha set = 95% max.

Just a thought, if you had 95% ressy all and u had absorb gear then you wouldnt take much damage at all would ya?

Anyone know the maximum damage reduction cap?

and if u had % damage goes to mana you could reduce it a fair bit.

-physical DR% is capped at 50%, as Cleglaw said
-magic DR and plain physical DR(not %) does not have a cap

and if u had % damage goes to mana you could reduce it a fair bit.

%dmg to mana only fills your mana with a percentage of the dmg you take, it doesn't reduce the dmg

-plain absorb (not %) is not capped
