repair bills are INSANE!!!

how do some of yall cope with repair bills that get insane? my chaos blade, after maby a few hours of play wants hundreds of thousands of gold to repair.

is there any easy way to manage this pain, or am i stuck looking for indestructable weapons?

You could make a goldfind barbarian. I use a random mule barbarian who has 2 pts in Find Item as my goldfinder to get enough gold for my BvC. Also notice that this goldfinder is wearing a superior archon plate Enigma, which is not cheap to repair.

I feel your pain. My 8% sup Archon Bramble wants 700k to repair from 24 to 60. I just wait for either rich bastards in PvP or a Ral. Both work, though the former makes me feel all fuzzy inside too.

is it the skills, or the weapon type that makes it expensive? is it possible to find cheaper ones to roll these in?

Superior items get insane repair bills, my sup dusk CoH costs about 1 mill gold to repair when it gets down to 1 or 2 dura. although I tend to find rals often enough to keep it repaired without using gold. Plain MP Enigma is quite cheap to repair in comparison. You get Ral Ort and Tal for the 2nd quest in act 5, how many chars do you have sitting around that you skipped that quest on? you could be sitting on a dozen ort runes.

When it comes to weapons EBotd EDeath or anything in a Phase Blade ftw, although doesnt help much if you are a claw user.

Could always make a gold find barb, can get 2 mill gold in 20-30 mins killing and horking the council over and over. Probably enough to repair the claw a couple of times over.

That's where a barb uses the find item skill on dead bodies.He makes a funny noise when he's trying to find more gold and items from bodies.

oh oh ya ive heard of that before, although my main intention was to find some way to be able to run my assassin as much as i wanted, this looks like i could find some decent gold, fast, horking too. ill give that a try

I don't think so. But then again, I would hope people don't starting duping Rals, Orts, and gold.
