Hi..I had a question..how do i put a shako or occy or whatever in a shield socket? i have head hunters glory thta i want to put something in it..i heard that u can even put a shako or whatever in sockets...can someone guide me to that area? like a website or something plz..thanks:wave:

You can't put items like armour into a socket, only jewels, runes and gems. For information on these things try checking out the Arreat Summit.

I'm not sure what to say to this. Without some sort of mod, you can only put jewels, gems, and runes in sockets. You click on the gem/jewel/rune to pick it up, and then click on the shield to socket it.

You can put a socket in a shako, but not the other way around...

To socket a non-socketed armor/helm/weapon/shield, talk to Larzuk in Harrogath, Act 5. Or you can use the Horadric Cube recipe if the item to be socketed is plain (ie, no existing sockets or magical properties)

You guys clearly aren't playing the version OP and I are. I have a 5 Shako'd Stormshield.

The closest you could get to this were the bugged / hacked items that put the stats of one item into another item, such as this Oculus ring. But those are gone now, and as has been said already, you can't do what you're talking about.

Your query is a little confusing, as the guys above have mentioned you can't actually do what you are reqeusting, but Diablo Wiki will have what you need and it sounds like it will be in one of these categories
