RazorTail VS Nosf Coil

If I use RazorTail does this mean I do not need to invest any skill points into Pearce? BTW, I'm building a Frosty/Strafer sorta.

Razortail give 33% Pierce. That means you only need 69% pierce from the skill. I think this is lvl 9. Normally 1pt is enough for Frost Maiden because of lots of +skill items.

The 10% life steal is nice on Nos, as well as the IAS. If you are having trouble with either, use Nos and spend a few more skill points in pierce. Most zons have a few extra skill points anyway.

If you need the ias for next bp, then nos, otherwise I'd probably vote for razortail ... got a nice z in the name too, making it cooler :laugh::tongue:

As said unless you truly need the IAS then use Razortail, the piercing attack is very usefull and it also adds 15 dex (even more dmg and AR) and +max damage.

Wait...is there a limit for pierce? Can I get a high % to pierce so i'm just throwing guided arrows at evil barbs and having all of them piercing them? I suppose pvp is nerfed, but how high can it get? BTW i have 22 points on my 89 bowazon with no clue to use in lol so yeah they do have some extras..

A Frostmaiden isn't a PvP character.

Razortail is the clear winner. 100% Pierce ftw.

I think it depends on your IAS, if you are aiming for a particular BP and are short by 10% then use Nos if not use Razortail.. i run a 15//1//1 faith zon and i like 95% IAS i use:
Mavs (45%)
Cats (20%)
Sigons Glove and Boot (30%)
Razor Tail

OR

Mavs (45%)
Cats (20%)
Nos (10%)
Laying of Hands (20%)
Gores

I still cant decide what i like better but I'm leaning towads the LoH setup.. need to do more practice to decide.. but one things for sure once you hit the last bp for speed for your attacks you can NEVER go back.. anything less tha 95% IAS for me is TOO slow heh
