Thats some creative juice you got there, IF thats in any way accurate we're sunk as we have lost our cop (our only one as far as I know) we will never know TC alignment if (and it a big if) thats accurate.
For the record I'm more than ok with TC being townie just on sheer weight of these days activity.

That makes sense too, it does, like a Deputy. It's still a little strange that you were able to talk to her, but that's not damning in and of itself. I don't have any proof for my theory, but I still think it is completely possible as well. You could have been the Assistant Coroner, or you could have just stolen the mantle from her when you kidnapped her. Sort of a cross between a kidnapper and an Absorber.

Techno, you summed up my crazy, nutjob theory much more succinctly than I could. Again, I have no proof, just the notion rattling in the back of my head. I don't think it's worth pursuing seriously, though.

All this said, I admit it IS a little far fetched, and I'm not convinced of it all, nor do I expect to convince anyone else without some further proof. It's just that it's very possible and wish/hope we have an investigator/cop that could look into it. I blame Cal for inspiring me. It's something I would probably do if I ever host a game, since I love complicated mechanics. :)

Noodle, that's pretty messed up. If you are currently town, I feel pretty bad being short an investigator given my above theory, much less losing a townie. If you have been back and forth on whether you were pro or anti town though, it sounds like lynching was still smart at it's base...

Honestly, I have to agree with krazey, if we don't trust TC right now, this is just going to add too much to our plates. Technos theory is possible though.

But TC seems a more trustworthy than BA or Ankeli.

You know, the more I think about it, it's probably not worth pursuing at this point. We are so far down now, we have to get anybody we can get, we can't really afford to waste resources on a far-fetched theory like this.

I dont think theres much doubt for TC being who he says he is. I dont think ive ever seen a mafia absorber role, that would be insanely powerful. Noodle saying hes been pro and anti town is...odd. If he was currently pro-town I would think he would have said it secondly, but he said Uraj removed it for balance so he is likely to be town as of now.

Caulin, Techno, I admire your paranoia and the fact that you can think of such a complex theory. However, let's sum it up.
According to this theory, I'm a 3rd party role which can kidnap people, get their role PM, get their powers and show up as they would to a cop investigation or I show up as anti town to a cop investigation. Being known for making up pretty much the most complex and confusing rules up to date (one of at least) I admit that this is WAY too complex and WAY too over powered even for my games. Such a role could win a game with ease.

In all honesty, I know it's far fetched. Hence why I called it a crack pot theory and was loathe to share it in the first place. Think of it like a "Wouldn't this be a kick in the nuts if true?"

Maybe people will wake up tomorrow. Great job mafia, not that it's that hard with 5 of you.

Maybe we'll actually lynch one of those people who are almost blatantly out of character in this game and so outrageously obviously mafia that we can get back in the game? What do you think Ash and Ankeli? Sound like a plan?

I'm still not certain Noodle isn't pulling our leg here. Notice TC's assistant coroner role didn't give him powers until Leo died, which is typical of that kind of role. Noodle stated he had powers as an "intern," albeit at 50/50 shot. I just don't think any part of what noodle is saying adds up.

Ankeli is scum, plain and simple for the reasons I've already stated. Regardless of what noodle flips, he needs to be lynched tomorrow if we are to have any hope at winning this game.

Even though this game has some exotic roles, going into the logics of the game is hardly helpful unless it's dead obvious. (Think last game where we massclaimed to out guarenteed doomed mafia players) Discussing game systems is utterly useless now. We need to lynch scum and if we identify the SK, keep him alive. You're scum though so we can lynch you.

lol, I know. :\ I went off on a tangent there. Reading back over it, it probably wasn't worth going that far into. I would totally pee my pants if that was true though!

It's off-putting, hearing someone say we need to keep any scum alive, especially a rabid scum hunter like you :scratchchin:, but I see the logic. We could use the SK now in hopes he takes out some mafia, which he better or he's gonna get overwhelmed too.

You know, you seem to be trying really hard, but I just can't get a town vibe off of you. I haven't the whole game. It just feels like you're trying to divert attention away from your own lack of substance. I look forward to your "role reveal."

So if Noodle was able to investigate Gorny on night 1, and claims his role has been changed, it means he was the intern on night one and now is some kind of anti town role?
But why would Uraj make him anti town when there were two townie mod kills? How would that balance the game?

You've made all the classic mafia tells in this game. The only reason I wasn't constantly on you was because Val did the same last game and was town. But I give him only one day. You've had four and you've convinced me.

Technomancer was an early candidate for me, and has remained so throughout this round.

The Asrrin/Ankeli issue is looking less certain to me at the moment than Techno's scumminess. I would put my weight behind a Town move to lynch Techomancer tomorrow.

I'm not defending myself by attacking you, I'm noticing the pattern. You've targeted me 10x more than anyone else has and it seems to mostly revolve around me harping on the SK thing. Between that and the "we need to keep the SK alive" comment (which I can admittedly see the logic of IF HE CAN TARGET MAFIA. Know something we don't? :whistling:) puts you at the top of my SK list.

Day has ended, Noodle will be lynched.

It doesn’t take long for you to decide to lynch Noodle. Noodle calmly tries to explain that he’s just a journalist’s intern, but you’ve already made up your mind. So you take him out to the courtyard and hang him.

With that business finished you head back to his room and start searching. That first thing you find is a bunch of notes and you start to wonder if perhaps you’ve made a mistake. Upon further inspection, you notice the notes are written in some sort of code. Looks like you’re going to have to find something else as these notes might remain undecipherable for some time.

You continue rummaging through Noodle’s room until you find some sort of poster. You unfurl it and start examining it in detail. It appears it’s a Wanted poster! There’s a depiction of Noodle and reward below that for information that leads to his arrest. Then it dawns on you, this must have been the cop for whom Marahumm was searching.

Noodle was a Dirty Cop/Mafia Traitor (Role + Alignment Cop)

It is now NIGHTTIME, you may not post for 24 hours. All those with night actions PM me ASAP.

Time until Day five start: Sunday 29 @ 4 PM EST
