I don't mf anymore. Mfing has gotten stale after 9 or so years. I don't bot either. I'm a trade whore. I basically robbed this noob with a sneaky PM trade and now i'm reselling it for massive profit (on the infamous other forum of course).



Here is the rest of my BvC gear (I posted the circlet earlier). Obviously the boots would be better with fhr, but i hit the breakpoint without the fhr mod. There was actually a pair for trade with the fhr mod, but it had only 13% light resist.

dear lord. i assume this is SP, which is sad because they are almost the perfect set of 1.10+ rare resist boots for PvP.

I Have found CAoL, FRoF and other magic high mf (gf and res too) rings and ammy's but not many like the rare one shown. Curious as to what the max mf/gf/res a rare ammy can spawn?

Edit: Should be correct now:
- 80% GF,
- 35% MF (requires a prefix & a suffix to both spawn perfect),
- 20 resist all

That would still leave one prefix available for another +40 to an individual resist, and another suffix that could spawn as something else (+str/dex or leech or +mana/life or FCR would probably be best).

And here's a flashback for all of the old-time D2ers still around.

I very recently got version 1.07 to install & work (Microsoft Vista, produced by Fisher Price :p), and have had to start from scratch on the item-hunting and character-building (playing SP, of course). My first character just gambled these sweet boots (err... sweet for me being untwinked and only level 16).

/edit: sirpoopsalot can the prare ammy specs you posted spawn with +skill/tree?

You can have up to 3 prefixes & 3 suffixes (6 mods total) on a rare non-jewel (jewels can have 3 prefixes or suffixes, but they're limited to a total of 4 affixes altogether, while all other rare items - iirc - can have as many as 6).

If you want to squeeze some +skills in there, since +skills are a prefix, you'd need to drop either the 20 resist all prefix, 40 resist to one element prefix, or knock 10% off the MF.

You can get a pretty good idea of what's possible to spawn on anything by checking out this page in conjunction with the Item Generation Tutorial (link in my signature). Caveat: The Arreat Summit data is definitely not 100% reliable.

it's weird (for me) to see fhr and frw without any amounts attached to them.

Yeah, I finally traded a 15/15 jewel to push in there. And I know it has bowzon written all over it, but a bowzon is so boring... Or at least imo it is. Played more than one in the past.

Edit: And damn, that looks like a nice lld helm for any Barbarian build.

Yeah the lvl 30 req sealed the deal to the seal :wink:

Bowzons are not boring once u stop using any bow that starts with the letter 'F' or "W".

*cough* faith or windforce

Try a Wrath or Brand for a change.
