EDIT: About +skills increasing damage, remember that it also increases duration, making damage per second look different.

fftopic: I guess I must be the exception then. I have several PJ'ers and though Trangs gloves may be better for PVP (% - Psn Resist), monsters that aren't Poison Immune definitely seem to drop faster when I put on my nice +3 Java Skills gloves; it's worth a huge amount of poison damage to lose those 3 skill points worth of damage. I've tried it both ways and although I can't prove it, that's the impression that I get. Also of course the +3 from the Harpoonist gloves adds to LF, which is not the case for Trangs.
BTW: You have to find Trangs gloves; not the hardest thing in the world to do, but they don't grow on trees. Whereas, patiently checking the vendors each time you go back to get potions, repair the dents in your armor, etc., will eventually let you buy the +3 Java Skills gloves "for a song". Works for me. :thumbup:

i was checking through some mules and found these booties.
ok, they're only dual res not tri-res, but for extra cold/lit stack on my smiter, they're rather nice i rekon.

After about a month of imbueing helms, I finally landed a 5nado helm. I'm thinking of putting a Ber or 15resis/7fhr jewel.

Imbued with level 90 in Nightmare.
